Sounds like another classic.
I was trying to watch them with the ERA bad movie group-thing, but the youtube links I found went down a few days before.
Hopefully I'll be able to figure it out...

That's one RLM joke I don't get. All of The Hobbit characters pronounce 'Smaug' in one way with pretty much no variance.
The joke is that Mike can't pronounce "Smaug". In their first Hobbit review, Mike lazily called him "Smog", but by the second review, Smaug's name is plastered all over the place, and Mike has zero change of getting it right. Jay got it right at least once at the start of the review, but then he started playing along and mispronouncing it because Mike was mispronouncing it.

I don;t know how i managed to, but I started watching Society, only to shortly remember that I already watched it a couple years ago and completely forgot.

Can Someone more talented than me make a GIF of the RLM gang watching Faust in horror and pan over to Jay with his big happy grin with the caption, "That's my fetish!" a la Scooby Doo?

I haven't seen A Quiet Place yet and they put spoilers in the title. On the otherhand Truth or Dare is some low-grade horror schlock. Risky watch!

Doesn't seem like they really spoiled anything from a quiet place in their review unless you're SUPER sensitive to what counts as a spoiler.

Yeah the Quiet Place review is not too spoilery. They do describe some scenes though, but the bulk of the review is talking about the "rules" of the universe.

I don't even know anything about A Quiet Place. But now I know it's a horror movie? I haven't decided if I'm going to see it eventually. I know my ex wants to see it. But I thought it was something totally different.

Have to decide whether I want to watch this or not. I don't mind spoiling movies I have no interest in, but I do like Jim Halpert. I dunno.

Everyone I've talked to about it has all said some variation of "well its not really a horror movie. its not scary. its really tense though. like tense but not scary, youre scared for them not scared yourself".

i dont know if that makes any sense but i agree with them for the record

I haven't watched A Quiet Place and I didn't really feel spoiled at all from the review.

Subsequently I read a whole plot summary of A Quiet Place and still don't feel terribly spoiled.

That's what makes it a good horror movie...

A Quiet Place seems asmuch a horror movie as Alien and The Thing, and people consider those horror movies

So I was channel surfing last night when I saw a Lifetime movie, directed by David DeCoteau. I didn't watch it for very long but there was at least one shirtless young man in it.

I had a similar experience. Somehow my wife ran into a trailer for the 1995 remake of "The Wasp Woman", and when I looked it up I saw the director was Jim Wynorski, who I only know because of Jay's arty-farty bullshit.

I recently re-watched Mortal Kombat and noticed Gerald Okamura as one the warriors in the ending fight.

He wasn't in his signature Samurai Cop thong which made it harder to spot him.

Low Blow is going to be in a Len Kabasinski movie!

In other news, I have finally watched all four Neil Breen movies. I feel like my brain chemistry has been permanently altered, and not in a good way. Maybe it's because it was the first one I watched but I found Fateful Findings to be the most entertaining one by far. Double Down and Pass Thru were both half fun/half painful and I Am Here...Now was just pure misery all the way through. I fucking dread the day his next one releases...

The RLM guys were just (like two weeks ago) begging to have Low Blow kill them in a movie. Mike even joked (?) that RLM would help pay for the movie if Low Blow killed them in it.

RLM needs to get on this, if they aren't already (they probably are).
