In order to start the game, double click "The Good Life Prototype Demo 2018 April.exe".
We did our best to prepare this ASAP in order to grant everyone's wishes.
There are a bunch of bugs present in the build, but we hope you'll enjoy this chance to visit the world of The Good Life much earlier than scheduled!!

This is really cool of them to release a demo. Even if the campaign doesn't meet its goal, there's a possibility some publishers are also taking a look at this build and may be interested in helping fund/publish after the Kickstarter campaign.
I wish I could afford to pledge a PS4 copy, but I am already playing the debt repayment part IRL :(

Hello supports and future supporters!
Thank you so much for cheering us on.
It's me, SWERY, the director of The Good Life.
Among all the comments, we've been getting a lot of requests for The Good Life to be translated into European languages. Currently the campaign page only lists Japanese and English, but we also intend to support subtitles in French, Italian, German, and Spanish.
We may be able to add more languages in the future depending on how the crowdfunding campaign goes and which partners join us, but currently we will be able to promise these 6: EFIGSJ.
So, European supporters, rest at ease! You will be able to play the game in a language that's closer to home for you.

I had opportunity to talk with Swery few days ago in person, such a great guy :) Really holding my fingers crossed for this Kickstarter.
They just posted a 30-second WIP of the Main Theme for the game from the VGO: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/476090608/the-good-life/posts/2172847
The prototype has helped, and a few Swery advocates like Super Great Friend and Jim trying to give it more exposure since they want it to happen.
I'm hoping, but it'll be cutting it close.

Given the rush that happens in the last 5 days, I'd say it has about a 50:50 chance?
Yeah I'm hoping hard.
I also want the mug physical reward but don't want anything else physical, which they'd offer it piecemeal.
I'm honestly not too worried about this campaign. It's not great but also within range based on percentages. Faster would be nicer but I'm thinking at the very least the final-day push will get it there.
Super-tempted to go for the physical disc tier. If they announced a Switch version and added it to that tier I'd be sold instantly.

I'm loving the in-game render though. I hope there's no changes to that.
So The Good Life received 20% of its funding in the first 24 hours. If it hits 80% before 48 hours, I feel like it could have a decent shot at making it. Last I checked it hit 66% with 5 days left.
