I can't stand the son, I can't tell you how many times I tried to knock him off a ledge or kick him off a mountain
once this little shit becomes a God and verbally abuses the goraphobic elf he is the most insufferable little shit in video game history and Kratos only says like two or three sentences to him. Grab that kid by the shoulders and talk some sense into him. God damn he is annoying
I'm going through GMGOW and just hit the "stranger" I'm in the final stage of the battle
get him down to a couple of bars, mess up and die.

A lot of the stuff down there can't be got to yet - come back later. You can go back almost anywhere eventually.

Beat the game yesterday. Was a very amazing experience. I can't believe how fun this was considering how much I disliked GoW 3. Everything was great. Not sure if I like this or Horizon better, but its crazy how good the combat is in each of these games.
Then I beat Sigrun this morning. She was tough but I bested her in the end.
Now I'm just farming mist for the last realm tear in Niflheim. It goes by pretty quick once you get the gear. I can get about 10k in one run plus whatever I can sell extra materials for.
I'm not sure if I should play again or hope for a NG+ so I can carry over all the gear I worked for. I hope they add one in but they've never said anything about it.

I'm playing on a standard XD, I just try to keep camera steady and crop, frame and sometimes a few colour edits in post. :D
and I though investing anything in the shield skill would be a waste of time..
lmao the camera is zoomed so far up Kratos butt. I'd call that a pretty big gameplay sacrifice.
I don't mind the view of Kratos butt if the game is this good.

Level up to 9 and she goes from a yellow bar to a blue bar and takes a lot more damage. You can also turn the difficulty down.
But yes i wasted two hours on her last night.
I will say this: Niflheim is the absolute pits.

I'm at the end of Muspelheim, at least I think it's the end, and I wanna stop and come back later. My question is, can I do so without having to redo everything up to this point? I'd hate to have to do all of that again

Thor's sons and got the Blades of Chaos.
Yeah, she's still tough but pretty manageable at level 9 on easy. Took me probably an hour or so of trys. Naturally the time I beat her I didn't even go down and have to use a resurrection stone. Just did a better job of dodging attacks and landing my runic attacks.
Lol I got up to the queen. And on balance difficulty I was struggling so hard that I said fuck it and went to the easiest difficulty.

That's another one I'm frustrated that it wasn't included. We deserve an explanation on why some of the game's music didn't make it to the OST..
I wish there was an encounter selection like in Uncharyed4, so I can replay the boss fights at least.

You probabaly haven't explored much? ;)
It's one of the many optional areas that you explore when following side quests. They are great, expanding story and lore and awarding you awesome stuff. People really should do them.
I stayed up till 5 am still didn't kill the mofo. Got her down to like 5% health left multiple times and choked- Died 5 times to Sigrun

Any tips on the (optional boss)
fight? It's literally absurd how fast you die and have no idea how/why. Especially after so much work you did to get there. Tips from really good players would be appreciated.

this is one of the best um remake of an IP ever. They turned God of War into something really awesome! Fucking loving this game
Finished the story for the first time today and I'm really glad I started on GMGOW, it was a really fun experience. Tackling all the optional stuff now,
although I'm not really a big fan of time trials so it doesn't help that both Muspelheim and Niflheim contain those.

Get your runic and cooldown up for that one, makes it quite straightforward.
