LOVE listening to this. So, so good.

My mom isn't doing well at all so I've had very little time to play the new expansion. I've only played a couple of the story missions so far just to try and relax and clear my head. Hopefully I can get more into it once things settle down some.

D2 would have been nice to be able to patrol with at least 4 players in a party. I'm not really expecting 6.

This campaign is actually pretty darn fun for me. That fight against the Hive Wizard was a great, challenging boss fight. Escalation protocol is also hard as hell, I love it. Love love love.

Also ranked crucible is HUGE. Played a ton last night with friends. Having that glory score does SO much for the game. The grind is there for us now, FINALLY. Really hoping to get my old crucible friends back into this mode.

Getting great feels for this. Already twice as good as I felt at the same time during Curse's release.

Also holy COW graviton lance is fun to use in PVE. Really hoping they continue making ridiculous OP exotic guns. They are supposed to be insane; that's why you only have one of them at a time. I don't think I even ran exotics at all in my vanilla D2 loadout - it was something like Nameless, The Number, Sins of the Past for PVE and Origin Story, Last Hope, Blue Shift for PVP. There was never any reason to have an exotic other than MAYBE MIDA depending on the PVP map, like trials Eternity. Best crucible player I knew in vanilla d2 ran scathelocke/last hope exclusively.

The only way static rolls were ever going to work was if the pool of loot was far deeper than what we got.

It wasn't, it wasn't even close.

this DLC was preety "meh" the campaign was good but woefully short; there's was no sense of urgency or doom, and the final boss was just some overgrown Graboid...CoO was better in my opinion. We really didn't learn much about Rasputin as well...

the fact that Heroics strike rewards are capped at 340 made me lose all interest in doing them. looks like I'll play for the next day or two to collect some new exotics amd go back to logging once a week to do my milestones...

hope they can realy turn it around via "Comet"

Heroics and the fact there's nothing special to play them for and how crucible competitive works, those two things are my biggest beefs currently... In their current setup they are absolutely awful.

I'm gonna hey my 5 done needed for my quest and won't touch them again until they change

I can personally do way more damage with a sniper depending on the map. The amount of ammo makes it worth it. I got like 10 kills with it on my last match.

Also I haven't even seen any of the new maps yet. Kind of annoying.

Exactly this. I think people are forgetting that this is what a lot of D1 was about, maybe to a greater extreme even because if it's just LL you're chasing then the only real way back then was raiding, NF, Trials, and I think that's it for a for sure increase in LL? You could grind out strikes and PVP and gain some, and use 3oC, but those were the for sure power increase activities (again my memory is a little hazy, apparently when you have a kid your brain only half works)

I mean I ran WotM 3x a week for I don't know how long trying to get that damn ship, which I never got. Same with the other raids and strikes (which they for sure need to make more strike specific loot that isn't just nf)I get not being able to do some stuff like EP, but like some others have said, it's a nice incentive as well knowing you got something on the horizon. I'm not sure I agree 100% that the LL grind is good or not. I do know that so far I am enjoying the fact that there are different things to grind/do. I feel like maybe this is more of a first step in making LL mean more, and hopefully they add more things to achieve that that is more fun and less of a gate. Hopefully that is just not wishful thinking!

I got a new pulse called Battle Scar, it's a kinetic full auto pulse that doesn't have amazing perks but it has exceptional stability, handling and reload speed which really let's you hold down the trigger and pretty much get a bead on your target. Not a bad second option if you don't want to run the wing.

I started up the game again last night to see how everything plays and maybe I would get Warmind.

What in the world happened to the framerate? On my Pro it was nearly unplayable with how choppy everything was. It was not like that at all from when I last played the game months ago.

There seems to be an issue, especially on Pros.

I don't think Bungie has even acknowledged it yet.

Am I the only one who feels like Titan just suck ass now? I always gt suckered by them man. I'm a day 1 titan, what sold me on D1 was the Superman slam with the fire helmet. I stopped and promptly went to Gunslinging Hunter as my main afterwards. In Taken King, I fell in love with my hammer bro, hell I got the game so I can be a hammer bro. And bein a hammer bro was fun until they nerfed the shit out of it and then it was garbage, so back to my hunter again but as a cool arrow shooting hunter. Then D2, convinced me to go back to Titan with my Captain America bro, only to be so damn disappointed with the class in general and all the class changes they made to it. Striker Titans were the only viable subclass and they're still OK in PvP but man, they just suck in PvE now.

Nice. I think your best bet would be to join the ERA discord. The xbox side is tiny compared to PS4 but we are happy to help! It is invite only, but there are instructions on the first page of this OT on how to go about getting one.

It has to be a bug of some kind because it even happens when my ship is merely sitting in space. It is noticeably worse when on a planet though.

The new Heroics are pretty hard for now. I kind of like it that way.
Pretty insane how over the top dominant Orpheus Nightstalker can be. You can turn so many tough fights into Mayhem parties. Can't think of another super in Destiny 1 or 2 that's still such an easy choice even off-burn.

I'm maining a Titan right now and I haven't had any issues PVE wise. But I really enjoy Striker and Hammers are pretty good this go around too. Shield bro is sadly lacking still though, I really miss the bubble being useful.

Graviton Lance is fun in PvE, but I think I prefer Crimson in the Crucible. My only issue is that I don't know what to pair it with. Ideally, I'd like to pair with a fusion rifle and a machine gun.
