But seriously, it's not that I agree with most of the complaints lodged at the show (I love the off model stuff personally, it's hilarious), it's more just that I acknowledge that it can be a little polarizing at times. This extends to a lot of things that I love, but I don't enjoy SU because it's perfect, I enjoy it because it's very unashamed of what it's trying to do, and what it's trying to do appeals to me.
If there's ever a vote for best cartoon though I'm totally voting for SU.

Normally episode summaries and titles get me anxious because they appear weeks or months in advance. Thankfully, all six of those episodes are available in just two days.
At least that tweet gave us a timeframe for when the episodes go live on the app. I was planning to stay up around midnight tonight to see if they went up, but now it looks like I can sleep easy.

So I've been poking around the main and leak subreddits and Tumblr tags; the episodes might be online now...? Some are using OnDemand and PlayStation Vue and see them, but I can't verify that myself.

How about Lapis?
Foguratively and literally. Lapis was a little toot. Really? She took the entire barn and just left. After all they've been through. She was my favorite gem, but I don't like this side of her.
Something felt off and awkward about all the episodes. Not sure if it was me, animation, or what. I don't know. It just doesn't feel the same.

I actually liked these a lot, it's been a while since any new Steven Universe so it took a bit to get back into the world for me, but it only took a couple episodes and I was remembering why I like this show a lot again.
Without saying too much in the world of spoilers, I think these might be the best 'town people' episodes in my opinion. There's actually a lot of growth and developments in the town people's lives rather than just keeping the status quo, the plotlines are interesting and tie into the main narrative, and have more human and enjoyable stories. It raised my opinion on several of the characters in Beach City and I'm interested to see where certain changes go.
Now in the realm of spoilers,
I think this actually was a really well done, 'dealing with it' arc. I can see some complaints people may have towards it, but none of these episodes felt like filler to me. In fact they're kind of what I've wanted the 'Beach City' episodes to be all along, have a stronger and deeper human element with developments and more fleshed out characters. Season 4 felt too much like Season 1 in the Beach City episodes, which was weird to go back to after Seasons 2 & 3 moved things forward so far along in the narrative on the Gem side, it felt like an unwelcome reversion backwards. These are some of the first Beach City episodes I feel like they're moving forward the people of Beach City little by little, and with some pretty big changes that'll shake up the Beach City episodes in the future for even more potential growth. Plus it ties in nicely to what happens at the start of the season. The whole arc can be expressed as, 'Everyone's a bit down, things are changing and may never be the same again, but moving forward little by little." Some characters do things that can be viewed as annoying, but I think it's realistic, and I think there's set-up for some interesting pay-off in the future.
Really liked these episodes.
Also, about Sadie Killer in particular:
As a horror fan, I really liked this episode. It had some very fun subtext as the horror genre is often used as a form of commentary, often in a similar way as music, so them finding a song that satisfied all of them to express something they could dance to with a nice beat, but could wake people up, and with some uplifting tones didn't escape me why it was horror movies that got them to come together on a song.
I also just kind of realized that Sadie and Lars are big horror buffs and watched a lot of movies together, and Lars is kinda'-sorta' a zombie now, which I don't know why but Sadie comparing herself to a zombie is oddly cute in the context.
