So is that it for their attempts to create a spinoff? Because they are never going to come up with a better concept than Wayward Sisters.

I don't get how they didn't give it a shot
But they give a show like Dynasty a shot
This is what CW is supposed to do, pair up shows

Arrow and Flash
Vampire Diaries and The Originals
Supernatural and Wayward Sisters

Come on folks it's not that hard.

I was not interested in Wayward Sisters. I have no patience in seeing a 15 year old girl out maneuver and be stronger than a werewolf

Yep. The previous one was a mess as it came out of nowhere. There was no fan interest and the characters were bad.

This was the way to do a spinoff of the show.
Not only were the characters bad, but it barely even linked with Supernatural.

They changed all of their vampire lore and appearance...for no reason.

Shame about the spin off not getting picked up.

How has this season been? I think I've only seen the first two episodes of season 13 and random assortment of clips on youtube.

Oh fuck this episode proper. Good scenes between the Angel Bros, Jack learns about his family, but the Gabe Death(no way around it now, his wings are burned unlike the original death) and everyone's bad acting just irk me to no end. If they somehow go back to Season 5 but this time with Vessel Dean as the plot and not Vessel Sam, I won't be happy at all.

I'm pretty sure his wings were burnt in S5 as well.

They were: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKf-SimRPRk

Also his death was just as dramatic and there was even thunder like when Lucifer and Alt-Michael were punching each other.

His death dramatic?

It felt dull as hell.

His death just pisses me the fuck out.

Dean and Sam don't even do anything. They just wait until he's dead and then move to the portal.

I don't care what LOU has done, I couldn't help but feel bad for him being left stranded in the other world. Super dick move on Sam's part after the guy gave him yet another chance at life.

You're joking right?

Sam has every right to kill him.

Yea that was garbage, makes me think they might've had it as a plan though.

I wanna know how Alt-Michael got the Archangel blade though

I hope they faked us all out, and he's alive next week.

Me too. Like we just got him back, this is just bullshit if he's actually dead. I'd be fuming if they killed him off after doing all that brilliance to show why he is alive.

I don't care what LOU has done, I couldn't help but feel bad for him being left stranded in the other world. Super dick move on Sam's part after the guy gave him yet another chance at life.

I actually think he's changed. He doesn't seem to detest humans at much and is starting to show less remorse to Agnels. Which is a dramatic shift from how he used to be.

You're joking right?

Sam has every right to kill him.

Omg Lucie tortured him for what felt like a milnia, years ago, killed Castiel(who got brought back to life) killed Bobby(who Castiel brought back to life), possibly tortured his half-bro and trapped his mother in evil land...get over it already!
Seriously though, while Sam does have every reason to hate him, he has been trying to change. He could be deceiving them because that's what he typically does, but I feel like he's being actually sincere :/.

Michael has access to the armory of an entire earth and killed three archangels. By counts, he should have four archangel blades.

There's only one on Earth afaik and Asmodeus somehow had it on Earth 1.0. I doubt a blade that can kill Archangels would be locked away in Heaven's armory, or be created by Heaven at all.But then again, was it mentioned that only an Archangel can wield it to kill an Archangel or is my mind just filling that in?

True. I thought each one had one of them. Still, everything on Earth 1 should be there on Earth 2 as long as it existed before Mary's decision.

But then again, was it mentioned that only an Archangel can wield it to kill an Archangel or is my mind just filling that in?

It can be used by anyone, but it can only be used against archangels by archangels.

Still bummed out about Wayward Sisters being passed on. :(

Also disappointed that Dean
will likely be playing Michael next season which just seems so tired at this point. Sick of the entire apocalypse world and angel/demon stuff. Wish they could do something new with the show or simply go back to the basics. I miss monster of the week episodes, good Men of Letters stuff, etc.

There is still a heck if a lot of people pushing for Wayward Sisters on Twitter. Thousands, even Neal Gaiman. The petition already has around 38,000 signatures:

https://www.change.org/p/the-cw-sav...m=psf_combo_share_initial&utm_content=ex97:v4

The writers still believe this show could get ordered to series on Thursday's CW upfront if enough people push for it.

Sign the petition, send out lots of tweets to the CW, WB, Supernatural channels and do anything else you can to push for this show.

I still think there is a chance if fans push the CW hard enough. Go read the twitter chatter with the actors and such.

The canceled CW pilot, Wayward Sisters already has a massive 70,000+ signatures in just a few days:

https://www.change.org/p/the-cw-sav...mpaign=share_petition&utm_term=share_petition

For a show on a tiny network that never even aired a single season, this is a lot of people who want this:

I quote this from Twitter earlier:

.@cw_charmed has 0.8K followers, @cwlegacies 3K. The petition for @WaywardSisters has 63K signatures. @TheCW, #SaveWaywardSisters! You can literally not go wrong! #WaywardSisters

Essentially the pilots the CW did pick up are far less popular then the one they skipped. With the CW upfronts tomorrow it will be interesting to see what they have to say about all of this. The fans continue to push hard for the CW to reconsider passing on Wayward Sisters. Will 70,000+ signatures alter the fate of the show? Won't be long before we find out...

I hate to bump this yet another time but just wanted to say that Wayward Sisters is officially killed off. My guess is that they will not pursue another spinoff attempt but who knows.

Moving on from that I read some news articles today regarding tonight's season finale episode and there was a lot of comments that suggested that
Dean would be playing something entirely new not related to alt Michael. I mean who knows for sure but some of the comments kind of suggested it was something else.
. Ultimately the Supernatural season finale is tonight and I hope someone here will be watching (I'll be at work) and can share their thoughts on the season finale and setup for season 14 which the writers are claiming will be huge.

So with that said, is anyone watching tonight? Where are my Supernatural fans? Did everyone here lose interest?

I'm planning on binge watching the rest of the season in the next few weeks (I stopped at around episode 4 or 5). I'm definitely still interested, and even if I wasn't I guess Supernatural is just one of those series I will keep on watching until it ends. I mean, 13 seasons, might as well just keep going.

Definitely watching tonight, or at least afterwards. And yeah, 13 seasons is a commitment, might as well keep going, but its also just a great cast of characters all around who have great moments even in times of darkness. Some of my favorite character moments even come from Season 7.

There's no chance CW passed on Wayward Sisters in favor of that Charmed reboot, is there? Because that show looks pretty bad. Shame they didn't go forward with Wayward.

They passed on it in favor of Legacies. Makes perfect business sense keeping the Vampire Diaries universe alive. Wayward Sisters doesn't have that benefit since Supernatural is immortal.

As Pedowitz said, Wayward Sisters is a nice idea but apparantly that was where the idea ended. "But we did not feel creatively that the show was where we wanted it to be."
It is not a business, but a creative decision.

^^^ Everything in television is a mix of both business/creative.

Legacies is probably both better creatively and from a business standpoint.

The new Hope is pretty great on The Originals--way better casting than anyone on Wayward Sisters.

Excited for tonight's episode. Just over an hour to go. Hope some of you share some thoughts as I will be working and won't get to see the episode until later.

It's hard to get a read on Lucifer right now. I can't tell if he genuinely just wants to go away with Jack & be left alone. Or if he's really got ulterior motives.

God damn, Jack's power level keeps rising. Kid is busted as hell.

Edit: Well, holy shit. Lucifer just made his feelings clear

This feels like this should've been the final episode of the show. Would've been the perfect note to go out on after all these years. But I guess Michael is gonna be just as big a prick as Lucifer.

Also, I guess the Apocalypse world people are here to stay. So, Bobby being back regularly should be fun. Or I wonder if they'll write him out somehow.

So S14 dangling threads.

Stop Michael.

Apocalypse world Bobby and Mary.
Repower Jack.

Man, that's a lot of shit...

I wonder if they'll have to get our Michael out to stop this Michael.
