I know a lot of people don't like the show on here, but I enjoyed Scorpion. The stunts they pulled were downright ridiculous, but I didn't watch it for that. I watched it for the characters, the interaction between one another.

That said, I would have been ok with the cancellation with the exception on how the season ended. There was no cliffhanger of sorts, but also not a good way to wrap-up the series. Very unsatisfying. Would just like to see even a 5 episode 'good' way to wrap-up the group, but of course we will never get it.

I will miss the show.

I pretty much feel the same but the ridiculous, over the top stunts were actually entertaining to me. But I did like the characters and their interactions a lot. It ran a decent amount of time for what it was but it would have been nice to see them wrap up the arc they were doing for the characters.

Y'know, everyone is all up in arms over Fox's several cancellations but the real bloodbath is at ABC. Twelve shows! (Possibly 13.) That's just shy of half their lineup. Networks usually don't get rid of so many shows at once because they have to replace them with new stuff that needs to get marketed. If there are too many shows to advertise, a lot of them may get lost in the shuffle.

However 3 of those shows actually ended. Not canned.

Vulture - Why NBC's Decision to Rescue Brooklyn Nine-Nine Makes Business Sense

NBC's decision to rescue Brooklyn Nine-Nine, just hours after Fox canceled the five-year old comedy, wasn't exactly a no-brainer— but it's also one of the least risky calls Peacock execs will make this week. That's not to suggest NBC isn't taking a chance here: Brooklyn is a decidedly modest ratings performer (even in this era of diminished Nielsen expectations), and as with most series going into their sixth season, it's not particularly cheap to make. But the Andy Samberg-led ensemble has three big things going for it, all of which likely helped make it easier for execs to quickly get to yes on season six. Let's break down the rationale behind NBC's big save.

It's already part of the Peacock family

It's already got a core audience (and a passionate one at that)

It's not like NBC has an abundance of comedy hits

Elaboration at the link

bad firehawk. Killing Eve is a drama with a terrific darkly comedic touch. Gotham is bad cocaine laced with LSD.
lol sorry. ;)

I didn't even know he had a new show.

Thought he was swimming in money after those Paul Mall Blart Cop Mall or whatever they were called.

Remember that time they fired the actress who played Kevin's wife on Kevin Can Wait so that they could replace her with the actress who played his wife on King of Queens in the hope that they could replicate its success but it was a really gross thing to do and it failed miserably?

Good times.

I watched Kevin Can Wait, but mostly because I'm a King of Queens fan (thanks to repeats). I still enjoy watching KOQ, but Kevin Can Wait was never all that good. The first season had some moments, but the second season was borderline awful. Honestly, the show went to shit when Leah Remini joined in late season one. Her character was awful, and the writing really shat the bed (not that it was ever exemplary, but at least Erinn Hayes had an interesting, good and likeable character).

I'm glad it's cancelled because now I won't feel like I have to watch it. That means one less show to clog my PVR with, too. The show got to be so bad it was embarrassing.

Man With a Plan is so much better.

Didn't her show get cancelled too?

I'm not sure, but she did guest in one episode of AP Bio. I was happy to see her, and not just because she's hot.

lol they brought in Sandler and Rock to cameo too.

I guess trying to make it King of Queens 2.0 didn't work.

Every time I see the guest stars in this show I wonder if its cause they want a ratings bump, cause they are friends with Kevin, or both LOL. Ray Romano and Adam Sandler both appear in King of Queens and Kevin was also a recurring character for a year or two in Everybody Loves Raymond. With Sandler and Rock putting out a movie together (that the advertised during the breaks in the show of course) I have to wonder if they are all chums and want to have each other in their shows. Feel like a handful of them have been in each others movies at times too.

Lol the writers and supporting cast could never make this another King of Queens. Casting change misstep and unhelpful guest appearances to try to boost themselves and it failed badly.

Sandler appeared in S1 too. And yeah, they're all comedy friends which is why they show up in each other's stuff. lol
It's just funny though, because it seems like they're trying too hard. Of course, Sandler being so lazy doesn't help either.

I thought that was going to happen. Maybe it was planned.

Leah Remini's character was fucking awful though. It's amazing how much worse the show got when she joined.
They basically made her play the same character as his wife in the other show though. lol Basically get on his ass for being a dumbass every week.

Similar, I guess, but not nearly as good or well written. Carrie was definitely better.

Uh yes. The whole point of Adam Sandler movies is to make him and his friends money, even if they suck.

Oh yeah I forgot he was in season 1. Yeah I can see the point of you saying they tried too hard. Lol. Lot of big names but nothing to show for it.

I haven't seen a Sandler movie in a long time. Since "Big Daddy" or "Water Boy" I think. So I only know what I see out of commercials. I had a feeling it might be to just hang out with his friends and work on projects together but I wasn't sure if he actually tried and put effort into his career and projects he is doing.

For the most part, no.
