Looks like her PC shut itself down because of the dreaded Windows update lol!

Had the stream open since I got home from work, but so far no sign of any drops. Got the stream in it's own window and it's not muted either.

Edit: Of course as soon as I said it, it popped.

Got the sprays earlier, but the Pink Mercy icon is still locked for me. Looks like a few others ran into that too on the last page. Hope they can resolve that soon, it's what I most wanted from the stream drops lol.

Ok, yea, I just checked on PC and I have all the sprays and the player icon.. Didn't think I would get them all already. Neat.

I only got one notification on Twitch:

But I received all sprays and icons upon logging in to Overwatch.

Zero notifications on Twitch.
Zero notifications on Overwatch.
Yet the sprays/icons were unlocked when I checked.

Still haven't gotten my sprays.

Edit: Wait a minute, I got them all. Just got no Overwatch "New" notification for them.

Yea, just go check. Notifications are kinda broken.

Also another nice fan art.

All proceeds to charity and a really nice skin to boot makes this an easy purchase for me even though I haven't played Overwatch in months. Always played as Mercy the most so this feels like a good excuse to get back into the game.

I watched the streams for about five hours yesterday and did not receive any drops.

I got the icon and every spray but it didn't tell me anything ingame or mark them as new.

No point in checking notifications. Just log into your game and check. I got everything already.

I can't believe chunks of the community are being shitty over this. There's a lot of "I want this skin! $15 is too much, this isn't fair! I don't care about charity, give us the skin!" going on over the internet.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised due to how toxic the Overwatch community is.

Not a surprise with Blizzard's practices. The way they set up these events and rewards seem almost designed to create a fervor.

Hopefully I don't see the same people also mentioning they spent the same amount of money on going to see Infinity War. (Yes, I know it's a lame comparison but it had to be said.)

Love things like this. Haven't played Overwatch much since Doomfist and before the Mercy change but hopped on to snag the skin. Great looking and for a good cause. Spend that much for a skin on Fortnite anyway, will definitely do it for any future charity ones.

Anyone having trouble with the drops? I know I've watched two hours and I think I'm at four hours by now but I've only gotten the first emblem for one hour.

I was able to buy the skin a couple of days ago and it's fantastic! It's easily my favorite Mercy skin so far!

You might not get a notification at all. It just unlocks in-game without any sort of warning. Plus it should take an hour or two to show up in your game according to some people.

I guess good causes don't exist right?

Good cause or not, it's a shitty implementation.

Overwatch has always had free skins, is one of the great things about it, now unless you cough up £13 you will never get this one. I paid £25 for the game, £13 for a skin in a videogame is not justifiable to a lot of people. Charity or not.

A better way of doing it for example would have been to donate lootbox sales during an event, for one thing the 'whales' seem to spend a lot more than £13 on boxes during them, for another it gives players several tiers of donation options, so while £13 is too much, perhaps they can do the cheapo £3ish option. And it doesn't ruin Overwatch's everything can be earned free thing it's had going for 2 years now.

The skin exists because of charity. You're not entitled to it simply because you want it and paid for the game. There's nothing shitty about the implementation.

Paying to get a skin outright is a shitty implementation. Trying to get it through RNG loot boxes is a better implementation. What?

Also this is hardly new, Blizzcon skins have been a thing for awhile.

There's also those you get from paying for tokens and for the vip pass for overwatch league. Those are paid skins too.

Have they said anything about bringing this back someday? My wife wants it, but we're in a spot where we can't really buy anything unnecessary.

Yeah guys the event ends today so if you want the skin, then you have til the end.

If you're on XBOX or PC, there was someone on the Overwatch Reddit who I think was gifting them for people who couldn't afford the skin.

I don't know if PS4 works since the gifting system is wonky or nonexistent.

I love the skin and giving the proceeds to charity made me feel less bad about hurling more money into the cosmetics flame! Win win!

I didn't care for the streamer stuff, but they (the streamers) seemed to be pulling in bank for the charity when I was watching so hey, to hell with my opinion, it worked. I admittedly did just basically idle a tab for my unlocks, though.

I wouldn't be surprised if they brought it back. Outside of Blizzcon skins, I'm pretty sure all the limited stuff came back (Oni Genji, Officer D.Va)

Thank you so much for reminding me you can gift things on Xbox! I had $20 from rewards on my account and was able to gift it to her.

$12.7 Million raised with an additional $130k from the 14 streamers
Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of the Overwatch community during the Pink Mercy charity campaign, we've raised more than $12.7 million (USD) to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

This is the largest donation by a corporate partner within one year in BCRF's 25-year history, and it's all because of you.

In addition to picking up the charity skin, players showed their support for the cause by purchasing thousands of limited-edition Pink Mercy T-shirts, available for men and women, designed by community artist VICKISIGH.

Charity stream viewers, rejoice! In addition to the $12.7 million raised through sales of the skin and T-shirt, you separately raised over $130,000 USD in donations watching 14 different Overwatch stars stream on Twitch.
