Literally the only thing I've ever seen from Scorpion was a clip on youtube where they were hacking a moving plane on an airport runway in a supercar going like 200mph and they were connected via an ethernet cord or some shit. And at one point the female hacker was dangling in air holding onto her laptop/ethernet cord. Was hilariously over the top and dumb.

edit: found the clip

There is no hacking in this scene, it's just a crazy and dangerous stunt to get a file transfer.

It will be a little bit hard to explain everything without seeing all this episode again, but I will try to do my best.

There was some kind of bug in a new traffic control software and this software is automatically updated after some time. This bug causes the air to ground communication system to completely shut down.

Soon, it will be impossible to communicate between the ground control and every other airplane.

Many airplanes have now lost communication with the ground control, they can't land and they try to stay in the sky for the moment, but they will shortly run out of fuel.

Panic ensues and the government asks the help of the Scorpion Team.

The Scorpion Team has to come up with a solution that will revert this major fuck up.

They try to find an older version of this software and it is only available on a backup server that still has the previous version software, but it is at the other side of the city and it is scheduled to be updated very soon.

They made it just in time before this older software version is erased by the updated one, but the hard drive with it is damaged or corrupted in the transport back to the ground control.

They think that they have lost this older software version, but there is still one place that has it and this is in an airplane that is still running on this older software version and flying near the city.

However this airplane can't land on this landing strip for some reason that I don't remember, maybe it has something to do about the software version that will automatically be updated and be lost or that the airplane is too fast or too big for this landing strip.

So, they have to get as close as possible to this airplane (with the fast sport car) and try to transfer this older software version to a hard drive (the laptop) before this airplane crashes itself on the landing strip.

Now that they have access to this older software version, they push it as a newer version of the software to save every other airplane in the sky that can't land and save the day at the same time.

I think that was that.

There was no hacking in that scene.

A slice of good news for once. The Blacklist is mostly a guilty pleasure show of mine but hey I'll take what I can get these days. I wonder what the fate of Timeless will be then since Sony was trying to sell NBC Blacklist/Timeless as a packaged deal...

EDIT: and the Timeless question was answered before I even finished this message. :P

Ann Dowd And Essie Davis Set for Gothic Drama Series 'Lambs Of God'

Australian cable network Foxtel announced today that Emmy-winning actress Ann Dowd (The Handmaid's Tale), Jessica Barden (The End Of The F*****World), and Essie Davis (The Babadook) will star in Lambs of God, a four-part original drama series from writer Sarah Lambert and director Jeffrey Walker.

Based on the Marele Day novel, Lambs of God is a dark, gothic story about three nuns, each a generation apart, living in an isolated convent by the coast, and an unwelcome visitor who enters their lives and changes their world forever.

As the Sisters of St Agnes, the must defend their lives, existence and beliefs when the handsome priest, played by actor Sam Reid (The Railway Main, Belle, Anonymous) attempts to sell their dilapidated monastery. What unfolds is an epic and fantastical tale of faith, love and redemption.

It's been a pretty bloody season overall. For myself personally, I've lost a total of five shows so far. Quantico, Scorpion, Designated Survivor, Dark Matter and Zoo. Designated Survivor, where I have enjoyed it, it won't be one I will miss terribly, Quantico falls under this, as well. But the other three I will miss, especially with how they ended. I feel I have pretty much had another 'loss', even if it ends up being renewed, and that's Lethal Weapon. I just have a feeling that it won't be the same, won't have that chemistry, even if they find another actor. Most likely won't be something I will be watching.

But what has hurt most for me is Wayward Sisters. I really expected that to be picked up. Had a great cast of characters and a strong tie-in to Supernatural, it had a lot of potential. Just seems like a waste.

Yup I am still completely surprised by Wayward Sisters being passed on. Only thing I can think of is this:

-CW feels they have to many new female lead shows this year.
-Charmed is a very popular and still much talked about franchise even after all these years. Roswell seems fairly popular as well.
-CW has a partnership with Julie Plec giving her higher priority for new pilots then a Supernatural spinoff.
-CW is dumb. lol

But isn't Pedowitz a big fan of Supernatural? He has said more than once that the show will keep going as long as 'the boys' want to keep doing so? I would figure that would count for something on a spin-off.

Either way, it's depressing. Even if there is another spin-off tried, just have a feeling it probably won't be as strong as Wayward Sisters. And our luck is it would get greenlit.

The way I see it, he's a business man that puts business first. He may be in fact a fan of Supernatural but I doubt that influenced him either way in regards to Wayward Sisters. At the end of the day the CW made a business decision. It does suck and I am super disappointed but unfortunately it is what it is. I also have a gut feeling they won't try for a third spinoff series and will just leave Supernatural be standalone.

NBC has the audacity to end Timeless on a cliffhanger when they weren't sure if they'd bring it back, I can't believe it sometimes.

ManaByte reporting that he's heard grim reports about Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s fate. Hope it's not true.

If we see a recast for Lethal Weapon, I wonder if they go with a relatively big name.

His name is Rufus! Oh and the show will be animated now! ;)

Nope. Live Another Day ending is absolutely unnacceptable as the final fate of Jack Bauer.

I agree but I don't think Robert Cochran, Manny Coto, Evan Katz, et al can make anything better then that at this point. Maybe there's a chance for greatness if they get Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa back from Homeland now it's finished.

The fact is, we are now ready for the most ambitious crossover event in history, one that has been 15 years in the making.

Enter 24: Prison Break.

For the first half of the series, the current CTU team recruits none other than Michael Scolfield to break Jack Bauer out of Russian prison.

Halfway through, they succeed, and then Jack Bauer goes on a Die Hard style rampage across Russia to get his revenge.

Blacklist being renewed is awesome news. Still way behind on this season. Gotta catch up.

Wondering if they are waiting to announce anything Gotham related until its finale, because of the reboot talk? Maybe it won't get canceled just renamed?

They're trying to find a new co-lead for Lethal Weapon - if they find one, then it looks like Gotham is dead. If they can't, Lethal Weapon will be cancelled and Gotham renewed.

Do we know for a fact it's going to end on a cliffhanger?

https://et.tv/2I4wFPO

We're doing episodes nine and 10 as a two-hour finale, so that'll be cool to have people be able to jump in. We're going to find a lot out. We're going to find out a lot about Jessica, and her and Wyatt's relationship. There are some big, big pieces that are going to be moved before the end of the season. There's a small bit at the very end that's a season cliffhanger and I can't wait for people to see this because it's awesome and -- I promise you -- it opens so many questions. It's one of those things that happens that changes everything we thought we knew about time travel. People's lives are hanging literally in the balance; there are literally people who could die or survive in this finale. It changes everything.
