Finally watched One Bad Day.

Fucking awesome. Jeremiah in victory and defeat was great. That ending was intense. One of the only times I wish they didn't have a preview.

Ah, so it is a management decision.

Jeremiah is 100% the Joker, but they just can't say it.

That is pretty ridiculous, its not like the show and the movies are ever going to interact. They did pull the same shit with Deathstroke on Arrow recently, but I assumed Gotham was a different case...

Deathstroke on The Flash? You mean Arrow right?

They had it for a moment, but they stopped it after a couple or so episodes.

My bad, fixed now. Yea I read at the time they could only use him for a bit at the beginning, but werent allowed to anymore since he was appearing in the JL movie and maybe a solo film.

So, if Gotham is renewed and if the rumor about the reboot around a new Gotham is really true, could this mean that we will get or see all of this:

- Gotham was completely destroyed (Ra's al Ghul's vision of Gotham in flames / Jeremiah's plan to blow up Gotham),
- Time skips to some years in the future (or the present if Gotham was set in the past),
- Gotham was rebuilt (this is the New Gotham),
- Jim Gordon is older (with a mustache, grey or white hair and a pair of glasses),
- Bruce Wayne is now an adult (and ready to become Batman),

as much as everybody loves Jeremiah over here, Joaquin Phoenix phoning in the Joker performance would still murk the hell out of this. if he takes on that Joker origin flick surely it will be better.

but still, i really don't see why they're so set on hamstringing some of the tv shows like this. audiences are not morons. they can handle a different actor playing the same role between network tv and a theatrical film

DC doesn't like the idea that the shows are much better then their multi million dollar movies...

I don't get why they have two Supermans, two Flashes, etc (even when Flash didn't necessarily have to be Barry Allen), but two Deathstrokes and two Jokers is just out of the question.

Because CW main characters always end up hated. We have Olicity drama on Arrow and Barry shagging his sister on Flash. Superman jobs to Supergirl.

Movie versions can easy be better.

They aren't, though. The movie Flash sucked. At least Barry had a period where he was a likable protagonist because CW Drift got him.

Movie Flash was perfectly fine. He was a likable guy. I'd actually put him on par with TV Flash in that vein.

They're definitely aiming for something like this, but they wouldn't recast Bruce Wayne, which would be a total fuck you to David Masouz.

I don't use Netflix but anything to save Gotham.

Can't believe I've fallen behind on this wonderful show ever since the break. Think I'll have to watch 8 episodes or so to catch up. Will do so this week.

Also, I really need at least one more season of Gotham. Fox, please.

The best I could tell fans is to spam the hell out of the Twitter and Facebook pages of Fox, Warner Brothers, Gotham, etc and let Fox know you want more Gotham. I've been sending them tweets here and there as well of course. It may not do much to help but that's about all we can do at this point. Worth a shot I'd say!

Really happy the show will get a chance to craft a proper ending. Looking forward to seeing what they do with Bruce's final steps towards becoming the Bat.

Glad they renewed it but I can't stop but feel a little disappointed that it only got 5 seasons when Superman got 10 (Smallville).

Hopefully we get 22 episodes.

Glad we get a final season, wish it could be 5 more seasons though to end up seeing the kid grow into batman. The way they portray the world of gotham is just brilliant and it's great to have a long-form view of it through the many seasons of the show, I don't want it to go away.

Maybe Netflix could pick it up after S5?

I want my 10 seasons, damn it!
