oof New Girl fans did not show up for the finale. Not surprising though.
Epix is getting into the DC Comics business.
The MGM-owned premium cable network has handed out a 10-episode, straight-to-series order for Pennyworth, a drama set in the Batman universe from Gotham showrunner Bruno Heller.
The series will revolve around Alfred Pennyworth, the best friend and butler to Bruce Wayne (aka Batman). The series is not a Gotham spinoff but rather an entirely story exploring Alfred's origins as a former British SAS soldier who forms a secret company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne — Bruce's billionaire father, in 1960s London. Sean Pertwee, who plays Alfred Pennyworth on Fox's recently renewed Gotham, is not involved. Casting has not yet begun and the series is set in a completely different universe despite hailing from Heller and producers Warner Horizon.

This is my Agent Carter
Poor New Girl. It was an okay finale, but not a necessary one.
I just saw on Wiki that in the final season they were getting a million each per episode
Modern Family would have to end first
I don't see the point in getting the Gotham people involved if this is going to take place in a separate universe.
Noooo thanks, I wouldn't want modern politically correct version. A lot of the jokes may be offensive to many people now, but that was the charm of the original show.
"At this point, there are two kinds of development execs: ones who develop new ideas and ones who rummage through the storage closet trying to see if we still have the ALF puppet," Seth Meyers quipped at NBC's May 14 upfront. The joke landed in part because, well, every other former hit is being resuscitated (see Murphy Brown, Magnum P.I. and Charmed). Of course, not every reboot scored a pickup, with NBC passing on its Bad Boys spinoff starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba (it was "good, not great," says one source), ABC saying no to Greatest American Hero with Hannah Simone ("too off-brand") and CBS hitting the brakes on Cagney & Lacey ("too soft").
You know that ALF joke gave some exec a dumb idea. Also, didn't know Seann William Scott turned down Lethal Weapon two years ago and it's interesting they may have gone to both Karl Urban and Johnny Knoxville before landing SWS this time.
That's a bit of a surprise.MIKE JUDGE PRESENTS: TALES FROM THE TOUR BUS, chronicling the exploits of legendary music artists, will return for a second season later this year, it was announced today by Kary Antholis, president, HBO Miniseries and CINEMAX Programming. While the first season of the show spotlighted country musicians, the new season will focus on funk music greats, including James Brown, George Clinton and Bootsy Collins.
"I don't see multiple more seasons of it but there could be a way to cap that off for the audience that really loved it. Right now it's not in the planning stages, but we have talked to the producers. If I can get the real estate and the cash flow going to cap it off properly we'd figure it out."
Asked by Deadline whether that capping off the series means a movie or a final season, Reilly said, "unclear," adding that, while there are no immediate plans, the idea is "to properly bring it to a conclusion."

They weren't rednecks, they were white trash.A climate with Rosanne, Last man standing, and Trump wouldn't support a sitcom about a redneck family?
Probably, but I hope not.
I'm sad too :(
That was a good, fun and wholesome show. An entertaining one with lots of personality, too. Jason Ritter was great in it.
God Friended Me is the new Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. It was my one hour to relax. There aren't many shows like it nowadays. :(
Here's hoping we get to see more Jason Ritter in the very near future.
TNT is really hitting it with the action dramas. Good Behavior, Claws, and Animal Kingdom are all on my watch list.
If it was about Gotham universe Alfred(the best Alfred) i'd be day 1.
