I love the way Alfheim looks in daylight as well, but I've always preferred night skies.Yeah, it's beautiful and kind of a shame it turns to day after clearing the temple.
Also, are you playing through the whole game with just the basic gear...? I only just noticed that your shots of Kratos and Atreus have them in them.
Whew. Gotta appreciate your dedication, man! I like most of the outfits enough, thankfully, but I made sure to at least get Atreus his melee outfit instead of the ranged one since it's my favorite one, visually.Yes, purely for aesthetic reasons. :) The default gear is the most polished and looks the best in photos. Some of the bulkier armor can look pretty bad wit lotsa clipping issues.
this maybe one of the most amazing shot i've ever seen. thx
Thats a funny and stunning shot.PS4, Photo Mode.
Gotta get that sweet air guitar time in, right Kratos?
Game was authored with K in his starting outfit. The armour came later, and caused no end of problems with clipping and framing. Those pauldrons on the traveller set obscure K's facial animations in several narrative sequences. I switched to the starting clothes for several photos for aesthetics, and would then get pwned if I forgot to change back, as I drop from level 8 to level 2.Whew. Ugh. The Witch's Cave is easily one of my favorite locations in the game because of how stunning it always looks. This particular area, especially.

Guys, why does the game opt to use such extensive depth of field in the background when on Lake of 9 area? In the beginning I thought it was for performance issues, but then I noticed that depth of field effect is completely removed when you are in the boat and everything looks perfectly sharp and beautiful.

It's probably an artistic choice. I can't say I am bothered by it, but I can see why some dislike the effect.
DOF is also a pretty demanding effect, so they must've thought it'll do the game's look good and that it's worth it.
Thanks! Was really happy with how these turned out, especially the air guitar one. That was a lot of luck too.
