Yes, one of the most beautifully realized fantasy levels, that I've ever seen in a game. A gesamtkunstwerk of stellar environment art, architecture art, character/creature art, lighting, music... Santa Monica Studio's artists are insanely talented.

Mmm. Possibly my favorite treasure chest screenshot so far. Also, hah! I knew how to open you the first time around this time. It feels so damn good replaying the game and solving the puzzles I once had trouble with, or didn't know how to solve the first time I encountered them.

I wish Kratos had an idle animation, even just something as simple as standing up straight and looking around.
You caught the perfect lighting on Kratos there! :)
Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. What Kratos can do while not fighting is very limited. Just slowly walking is my go to as well if I want Kratos not hunching.
I am also disappointed by Kratos' available facial expressions. I basically never use them since they are mostly comedic and I don't do funny, selfie-style shots.

I understand that about the facial expressions. I only use a few of them, but most of the wacky ones are just not my thing. I'm not sure I recognize the one you used there, though... but I love how it looks like he's imitating the rock face.

I love that the axehead isn't shiny and how you can clearly see the dirty spots. It makes it look so much more authentic.

I love taking shots like this. No matter the game, as long as there's climbing, I just love the way it looks when the character is hanging on the side, ready to jump across. I also really love how the tip of Kratos' boot folds that way. It doesn't just clip through or look awkward, it looks like how it would in real-life. Awesome little detail.

The amount of beautiful and stirring screenshots in this thread is nothing short of incredible. One could spend HOURS looking at these screenshots, trying to get their next 100 wallpapers!
Phenomenal work by you guys, truly. Playing though the game at the moment and these shots just make me appreciate the world SSM built all that more.

I'm so glad Photo Mode is here now so we can really zoom in on all the little details, especially in Tyr's Vault. There was so much I wanted to get a good look at the first time around.
