Smh
Caps in full tailspin mode.
Bolts on the verge of the cup. I can dig it!
Sweden will get silver and someone on the team is going to throw the medal into the crowd again. So bronze for Kreids and Pionk. Hopefully Mika and Lias can win gold next. I'll be so bummed for Lias if he gets silver again. :D
He's been injured for while I think
Dude is a notorious choker. Better just to dump him in Edmonton or Montreal.
Vigneault is a better coach than Paul M., even if he has come up short a couple times.
hmm... I think I said Nashville and TampaMan, what the fuck is this timeline.
I gotta look back but who was everyone's pick in the beginning of the season of making the Stanley Cup final?
There's something about Pronman's stuff that just makes me wonder if he actually has any sort of talent for scouting, or he's a guy who just collates scouting reports and then borrows templates baseball to make his articles. At times it's like he is filling in hockey MadLibs.
Maybe it's the self-promotional thing? In his preview of the 2018 draft, he boasts that what follows is the result of thousands of hours of effort over the past 2 years. Which would make sense: If watching and writing about amateurs was his full time job, he would indeed have clocked thousands of hours over a 2 year period.

Primary among them are the ability to communicate with, teach, develop and motivate younger players while taking a more hands-on approach to team building and leadership. As such, general manager Jeff Gorton and Chris Drury zoned in early on BU's Quinn and University of Denver's Jim Montgomery.
The Rangers did not consider veteran NHL coaches Bill Peters, Darryl Sutter, Dave Tippet or Dan Bylsma. They did not wait for AHL Marlies' coach Sheldon Keefe, did not speak to Toronto assistant D.J. Smith and did not wait for Washington coach Barry Trotz's contract to expire.
Incredible year for Pettersson
Still no certainty on whether or not he signs with the Canucks or spends another year in Sweden. He may want some assurance that he won't be spending the season in Utica

I think he puts that stuff out front because he is constantly attacked by people who don't like what he writes.
Hr constantly caveats everything saying this is what he views his draft board as, as if he was a GM and drafting. It is never a consensus thing. He goes to other scouts for information when he comes up short. Like if he can't go see player X, or whatever, he asks scouts about that player to get a general feel. Otherwise it's all stuff he sees himself.
He also puts skill above damn near everything else. If he knows Player Y has a really good chance to be Joe Thornton, but has an equally good chance to be Luca Caputi, he is going to put that above the guy who is almost guaranteed to be Ryan Dubinsky. Lots of teams apparently wouldn't do that.
I personally enjoy the hell out of it all. It's all written well enough, its thorough, and he explains his reasoning well with everything.
Also, Brooks says that the Rangers' coach search all along was basically Quinn vs. Montgomery.
