Going to be interesting to see if the cart slows deals down or not. Bomberman only recently started appearing for around 30 quid new.

Can't speak to how quick their deliveries are, but coolshop have been around for a long time and I've not heard of anyone having much trouble with them.

Video Games
Amazon.de has Xenoblade 2 Collector's Edition for 85€, which is not bad at all.
Should I be worried that the German release has something censored or how often does this happen that German release of the game is different from other regions?

Nothing gets randomly censored in Germany. Why would it?! This isn't a gorefest.

All of europe gets the same CE incl. the ugly USK logo ;)

The ugly USK logo that is only on the outer box and nowhere on the actual case finally now (same as with the PEGI logo).

Seriously, though, at some point "Nintendo LEs are the same in every EU country" shoudl be in the thread title or something. I see that asked again and again and again.

Just what I was waiting for;

https://www.coolshop.co.uk/product/...E2PS5/?tduid=bdb22b926c11dcd12d67bcfec311402e

Skyrim Switch for £37.95

Don't recall ordering from coolshop before though, anyone here done so before? Are they reliable with delivery dates? (noticed they take payment immediately)

Never ordered a game for release date delivery but I wasn't happy with my service with a random PS4 game. Only found out they were based in Denmark after ordering. Took a week to arrive and when it did it wasn't the UK version like their page advertised.

Anyone give me some tips on what the absolute best hardware for playing original DS and 3DS games on - and any decent prices? not overly fussed about the 3D element if it doesn't add much, more overall quality of the hardware.

A "New 3DS XL" or a "New 2DS XL" is what you want. Since you don't care about 3D, grab which one looks better to you or is more affordable. Same hardware, one just lacks the 3D. I personally think the 2DS XL looks pretty sweet, they seem to start at £120. The 3D is neat every now and then, but I never leave it on for long.

The budget option would be a normal 2DS for like £75, but it's pretty ugly and doesn't have the nice clamshell design and lacks the improved hardware, which improves overall system performance and is required for some games.

I'm sure black friday will have some nice deals on either

Super helpful, thanks - anything game-wise that is locked out and HAS to be played in 3D?

Amazing, thanks - set up a few camelcamelcamel alerts ahead of black friday - my wife's decided she wants to get into playing games and fancies on of these, so no rush.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D and Fire Emblem Warriors only work on the "New" hardware and I can't think of much else.

No game actually requires 3D, it's always just a visual enhancement thing.

Also Hyrule Warriors. It can be played with the non-New 3DS but I don't think it is worth it because of all the downgrades.

Thanks very much for this. Without inciting any debate, I'm looking to get either this or Assassin's Creed Origins as my game for over the Christmas Break. I'd imagine I can pick up either for around 25gbp closer to the date - which one should I look to get?

Both of them are excellent open-world games, but I enjoyed Horizon ZD more than AC Origins. It feels more polished and the combat system is fucking amazing. World building in ACO is better though, but it feels more "janky" in general

You can't go wrong go with either, check a few videos of both of them and then decide

AC Origins. I got bored of Horizon after about 10 hours. I am around 20 plus in AC and still enjoying it. The minor details in the game is on another level.

Can't speak for AC: Origins but Horizon is probably my GOTY so far. The DLC is amazing too. Definitely one of the best new IP's of the last few years. It's pretty much the reason I bought a PS4 and it's worth playing by everyone, especially at the price it's currently at.

I don't like Horizon at all, the combat bores the pants off me.

If they're the same price, make a call, but if AC is cheaper jump on that bad boy

Horizon Zero Dawn without a doubt. Game of the generation for me.

Just wait with AC: Origins until it goes on sale.

Is the Skyrim Switch price on amazon UK a placeholder? I've seen it for £42-43 in other places.

Anyone know a good place to pick up Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 for PS4/Switch in the UK? Digitally they're way too expensive, and a few places don't even have the accurate release date for Switch (unless it really is launching in December here).

hhttps://www.cdkeys.com/ was the cheapest I could find for eshop credit the last time I looked. Not much of a saving but there you are. Or are you looking for a voucher for a game rather than eshop credit? If so wouldn't it be cheaper to do the Switch eshop buy from another region trick?
