I've been playing for about a week and half. It's a fun game, I'm level 38 now. I feel the freebies, achievements and dailies give you a lot of free stuff and you get a bunch of free refill energy daily on top of it which is nice. I play enough to do all the dailies and spend all my arena tries. It's generous on that front but the way characters unlock is tedious. The gacha in this game is pretty poor as you get shards which unlock characters instead of characters. The monetization also seems outrageous compared to other Gacha games. In $CAD dollar the new orb offer to unlock a character is like 48$. Jesus. Outside of the Captain America one I bought the rest are really overpriced.
I'm also trying to find a casual alliance to try the raids now. I went on the Marvel Strike Discord from reddit and some of the people there a bit peculiar even going as far as doing interviews. I'm not applying for a mortgage haha.

I played some other gacha games like Brave Souls and Dokkan, but I like the Strike Force system a lot more. Sure it still depends on luck to some degree, but you can farm specific characters in the different modes and just as you wrote, you get a lot of free stuff.

Oh I agree. My point was that it's less enticing to me but it has upside too. New characters are usually introduced by events and not in the gacha directly for once. The free stuff is very nice to keep player logging in multiple time each day but yeah the prices are way too much.
I filled a survey in the game and it said they would send me a reward before the 4th of June. What is this reward?

Scratch that, I was thinking of the old cutoff. Apparently the very last orb blitz was 170k, meaning that the new cutoff will be around 200k

Yeah, I just checked rewards and was kinda disappointed. You have to be in Top 500 to get Cable shards, and that is not good for a lot of people
But 2.250 Mega Orb fragments is not bad for Top 10% now I think about it. I will push for Top 10%, but not as hard as last time. Hopefully 150/160k will do.
Top 500 is impossible for me. So I guess I'll just go for at least 1k Mega Orbs as that will get me another pull.
What's the best way to make gold besides the gold challenges? It seems like gold rewards are really low for the campaign nodes.
Yeah just by using your energy throughout the day you can contribute a maximum of 600 raid keys per day to the Alliance total.
I swear I feel targeted sometimes in arena. I can go from 320-250 in two fights, come back an hour later and be back at 340 haha. Multiple days in a row this has happened.
Do any of the ERA Alliances have an open space? My current Alliance has lost a few members and we're struggling to recruit heavy hitters. So we've not managed to 100% the last couple of 50 Raids. I'm lvl 60 Strongest Team 85k.
She's legit. Not as all purpose as other characters but really good in Hand team which is a monster in blitz, and she has a bugged interaction with Kingpin where she'll apply 3 bleeds guaranteed if she does an assist attack.
Good pull! I don't like Wolverine that much but at least its shards of a non-farmable character.

I've been running an curated team of Yondu, Quake, Cap, XBones, Gamora. I need a B-Team to run to help with resource management.
E: Unrelated, my alliance is finally starting to work through Level 50 raids. There's a clear power jump there. I can all but solo the 40 raid lines. But woah...There's node in the 50 raid that just did me in hard.
I forbid the sad smiley. Korath is a beast for blaster challenge, cosmic and he is the fastest character in the game with nasty turn 1 damage.

Your current team is what I used to run awhile back. If you post your roster I could recommend a B team. There are two blitz teams where Elektra shines. A villains team that exploits kingpin's assists and I think the best version of it would be Kingpin, Elektra, Nobu, Yondu, Nebula. And the hand team of Sentry, Sorceress, Blademaster, Archer and Elektra. Nobu is an upgrade but this team can with at tier 8 even without him.
Partly cos I already have him unlocked! I would've preferred BW as I'm still at 23 for her, or even WS. But I finally got to cosmic 1-9 earlier, so I can just farm there.
I regret not doing the campaign in general before they buffed the difficulty. It's such a pain in the ass.

App has crashed every time at 95% whenever I attempt to do a raid mission today. I'm in the Great Lake ERAvengers and been trying to do just one raid mission all day. And it's just from attempting to do a raid mission. I load fine into campaign, blitz, and arena fights. Reinstalled the app to see if that clears things up and nothing. Oh well. This happened before in one of the Thanos raids and it fixed itself after the raid ended.
