That's based on a fanpage. I wouldn't put too much faith into that.

GameFreak wins lol
Any Pokemon that hails from the Kanto region (and their Alolan forms) will be transferable to Pokemon Let's Go via wireless Bluetooth. This feature unlocks about "midway" through Pokemon Let's Go.
Once a Pokemon from Pokemon Go is transferred to Pokemon Let's Go, it will appear in the Pokemon Go Ranch, where it must be caught again. This mechanic will likely work somewhat like the Pokemon Transfer Lab used to transfer Pokemon between generation four and generation five, in that you will have unlimited tries to recapture a transferred Pokemon, but this is yet to be officially confirmed. If a Pokemon has been sent to Pokemon Let's Go, it will be unable to return to Pokemon Go.
Good to know
They will be. We saw a Moltres being transferred in the trailer and we also saw a Zapdos in the Go park too. Furthermore, in that same IGN info that I posted a couple of pages up, Masuda confirms that shinies transferred from GO WILL be shiny in Let's Go.Do you think Legendaries and shinies will be tradeable from Go to Lets Go?
Also curious how they work out IVs

This is dope
Hope we get another community day with a Kanto mon. Missed out on all the Kanto pokemon so far because I was too lazy to go out x_x
yupThat makes it more likely that the internal data structures for the Pokemon will be like they've been up til now in the Let's Go games.
He got hyped up at megas, z moves, and the egg move stuff since its similar logic to demon moveset building in persona"Person not really into Pokemon games asks hardcore player about new, more casual option game. Hardcore players slams the game and tells them it's dumbed down crap and to go play a more traditional game while watching high level competitive play. That person listens to friend."
60 euros lmfaohttps://www.amazon.de/dp/B07DDQTJP1/
The Pokeball Plus is currently available at Amazon Germany ... dunno how many they will make or how wanted this will be ... if you absolutely, definitely want it you should go ahead and pre-order somewhere.
No to Pokemon of all Gens. The bare minimum was Johto and its Pokemon, the cross evos from Gen 4, and MAYBE a smattering of some other Pokemon. The bare minimum. But they can't even do that. I get why FRLG did what it did being the first remake and all, but here its just fucking stupid. And they are somehow going to manage to make this post Gen 7 in Universe, I just know it. We are going to get Adult Red and Green alongside lillie in these games, and they somehow wil not have Johto in them. Despite Johto in-universe being around for ages. What would have people thought of a game like I choose you. In a reinvisioned kanto, with some new characters, some old ones. Pokemon from every gen, but still more kanto focused, and also johto post game?
Nah Lillie won't be seen in this game probably, we sure as hell are not un the same universe of the main serie. No to Pokemon of all Gens. This is what I thought this game was going to be in the first place. It would have been pretty cool. But nope, they went with the most boring premise possible. What would have people thought of a game like I choose you. In a reinvisioned kanto, with some new characters, some old ones. It's still going to sell a lot. This is what I thought this game was going to be in the first place. It would have been pretty cool. But nope, they went with the most boring premise possible.
why should we care?
So does every other Pokémon game

Nah, a big ball with one button and a joystick doesn't double down as a switch controllerPokemon Go Plus is about 34 Euro on Amazon ... so yeah, don't expect the Pokeball to be cheap if that also doubles down as a Switch controller. At most, i can see it going down to about 50 Euro near relase ... if drops at all.
We should care because it'll move a lot of Switch units

I'm not going to make any judgments on the games quality right now, but it's Pokémon.
OK, but the point that WrenchNinja was making had nothing with sales as far as I can tell.
Civil War vibes.I haven't looked in this thread since the announcement. What's the general vibe surrounding the game now: do people like it or not?

But nobody is ever gonna convince the other. It's just people who are excited fighting with people who aren'tThat's usually how these things go in the interlude between bits of information being released.

Sure, I know that the game has the basic 4-move turn-based system of all the core Pokémon RPGs. We don't know anything about it outside of that, or how Pokémon growth might have been reworked in a game without battles against wild Pokémon.
I think the beauty of this tagline is that it works for pretty much every demographic — players who played gen 1, players who've only played Pokémon Go, and players who've never played Pokémon at all.
The first two are a given. The second two aren't contradictory in the slightest. This is a game that's designed to appeal to nostalgic adults who played gen 1, and also an at-home companion to people who've only played Pokémon Go, which doesn't have much to do for players when they're at home.
Also, cross-demographic appeal is a good thing

Personally, I'm intrigued but not excited. Its just Gen 1 with Pokerides, Go Catching, and HD graphics. On the other hand, I can see the story being way better, a couple of surprises in terms of game content, and the soundtrack is bound to be stellar. This game is actually very close to something I have been suggesting for years now, so I can't fault it or claim to not have bias when praising it. That is, I personally feel that a single player non online focused Pokemon Adventure would be perfect to complement the Core Branch, but not like this, ie beingntotally gimped and just being a straight remake/reimagining. Like, Pokemon without its online package and only single player needs to be a pretty solid package, but this is nowhere near that.I haven't looked in this thread since the announcement. They said this game wouldn't use that Online service. it will be free to play online. Since trading and battling others has been a core part of the series identity from the beginning, GF probably doesn't want it locked behind a paywall.
Playstation is based in the US.How is there still conflicting info about all the online stuff? Nintendo and TPC seem to be terrible at conveying info sometimes.
Sony is a Japanese company and they are great at conveying info to the point you forget they're even Japanese
We did have evidence. The official website said it wouldn't use the inline service. You said this as if you had evidence, now we have evidence to the contrary:

https://www.pokemon.com/us/pokemon-news/pokemon-creators-share-more-details/Nintendo has recently announced that the company will begin its online gaming service this September. Will Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let's Go, Eevee! use this service?
Mr. Ishihara: We don't have any plans to use this online service right now.

Shuhei, the head of Worldwide Studios is Japanese and he has no trouble getting the right info out there

I only corrected you with the information we had at the time, if you thought my post was like mean or something, sorry. So it's a clarification of prior reporting. But everyone was acting like it was gospel and I was way off base assuming Ninty wouldn't launch their online service w/o Pokémon.
