yeh but why would drake give a fuck about him? why is drake his cash cow?
Him and / or his son manage Drake and he is their artist. Drake was "loaned" / put on Cash Money for more fame and exposure but he still kicks up to the Princes. J Prince founded Rap-A-Lot Records, biggest act being Scarface and Da Getto Boyz.

Just like the Italian mob and other gangsters ran record labels from behind the scenes, some rap music labels are backed by real street dudes. The music industry is a legit investment for gangsters. Frank Sinatra was mobbed the fuck up lol.

Yeah they consider Drake family too. If you ever wonder how Drake's perceived as a "tough guy" at times, is always protected, always has funding and is always ok even though Cash Money might have issues with people including money issues?

The Princes got em.

Not a bad relationship either because they're legit.

At this point, Drake should just continue to play it quiet and try to let it pass, If anything, Pusha ruined his Addias rollout plan and his album mode.

Dude should consider giving the summer to GOOD Music & just drop his album later in the year instead.

Kinda late to this, but this thread has been amazing.

Best part has been seeing Drake stans losing their minds.

Don't stan anyone you lemmings and just enjoy the music.

Drake is gonna do whatever he can to turn this into a positive.

"These past few weeks have given me time to reflect on myself. Upon further reflection I've decided, enough is enough. I will not allow toxic people to influence me anymore. I'm not a kid, I'm a man and I gotta be the one to kill this. I'm aware of the talks about my son. I promise you I will discuss that at a later date. I gotta focus on what's really important, the music. It's summer y'all. Only positive vibes from here on out. Let's live it up. You only live once, right?"

It's amazing how J Prince has so much power over Drake. Rap A Lot hasn't been shit in ages yet he has this immense pull with the most popular rapper in the game.

You respond insulting Pusha's family, you ruin the character and facade you've been building so long.
You respond with help from anyone, you look like a coward that can't defend yourself.
You don't respond, you look like a coward and that all that was said is absolutely true.

Drake doesn't have a lot of options, and no matter what he does Pusha has gone on record in interviews saying he has plenty more, with a lot deeper cuts and hes willing to sacrifice himself at this point to prove hes right.
I agree. Drake would seriously have to cross the line even further than push but honestly I don't think he has it in him. It would ruin his character.

That interview makes it worse. Prince should've kept his mouth shut. Makes Drake seem like more of a chump. Not his character, that needs to be brought up if Pusha replies. Because it's all an act.

J Prince is right. In a scenario where Drake wins this he wouldn't be Drake anymore.

I can't believe Drake was flirting with the battle rap scene, this shit was lightweight lol

Yeah like, "This isn't fair! Drake ain't about that life. He's Canadian!" Wut?
I can't wait for Joe Budden and Co to roast this man lol man drake really fucked that one up big time,
J prince saying that after drake shot back makes it even worse Lmao
  • Pusha throws a jab setting up drake will he take the bait!
  • OH God drake not only took the bait he fired an onslaught jabs
  • Pusha dodges all of them what incredible speed for the underground nearly 10 years older than the champ
  • Pusha hits hard with a right jab and unleashed devastating body shots
  • Drake run to the locker room leaving his fans confused
  • Drake's manager says drake ain't a fight a week later
If this were boxing drake career would be over lok thankfully the kid in rap and still be dropping dope music

Any statement ending with YOLO is basically suicide given the situation.

That's a funny fake statement that seems too possible. It's time for Drake to the decide what kind of artist he wants to be. No one was ever buying the tough guy persona. Take the L and say you're done with beef, for good.

Only thing at stake is his pride. His fans won't care. The ghostwriting stuff is already with him forever and this will stick too. In a lot of ways, he'll always be a punchline.

His reputation, with almost everyone outside of his fandom, is ruined.

So does any of this have any effect on Drake's women demographics?

Could Drake shut up and roll it off? Or is this a stain of some sort?

Only time will tell. You have a hidden kid, texts allegedly of him asking her to abort the kid, and Sophie throwing dirt on his name. But Chris Brown not only survived but flourished after the Rihanna beating.

I know Drake will still have hits, his sales will still be good, he doesn't have to be all tough. Drake losing and not writing a lot of his hits is ok as long as he stops saying he is the best rapper, anyways this beef is prolly over if Drake isn't gonna drop today.

J Prince probably told Drake to not even say shit on social media. If the Prince's say something, Drake listens. He's more of his "boss" than Weezy and Baby are. This is some real "Kakashi telling Naruto to stop doing shit" type of situation.

This was on Toonami last night, first thing I thought about was this thread lol

Wife said she's lost interest with the drama around knocking up a random softcore model and being a deadbeat.

I've got a standing bet that that changes whenever his next radio single comes out though.

From what I've been able to gather, probably nothing. Pusha's diss as pointed as it was went over a lot of peoples heads lol. It's structured like an essay of character assassination but all the women I've interacted with only caught the baby line like whatever. He probably didn't want him in the limelight anyway.

A vast majority of people didn't catch anything in the song and aren't going to research the stuff they don't know. These aren't hip hop fans, they don't want to get lines. The smart thing was having the blackface cover because if it wasn't for that then nothing would stick lol. I checked out some reaction videos, people don't even know what a Steve Harvey suit is. The fuck

Some women find that anger sexy. I have friends that love when their boyfriend chokes them up a bit. Don't ask me.
Nothing wrong with a little consensual choking. But he beat the s*** out of her. I don't know many women into that sort of thing. But I have heard some say that Rihanna must have done something to him first.

Which doesn't make it any better.

I actually had to explain blackface to my 18 year old nephew. I wanted to smack him lol. And I've talked to a few adults who didn't understand a lot of it.

I checked KTT out to see responses and someone said this.
"This nigga took the fattest L.

Ya mama, daddy, good friend all get publicly dragged and you get exposed for having a baby with thick crimson chin that you keeping tuck. You got your blackface pics plastered all over social media and you let fucking J. Prince tell you not to have some pride and defend your family and friends lol.

I'm sorry but no man can convince me not to be a man and defend me and my people. I don't care if it's J Prince, Prince George or just Prince. Drake wanted a way out. If he really wanted smoke he would have respectfully told J. Prince he had to do what he had to do. Simple."

You honestly can't take down Drake unless you target his female demo. That's his bread and butter. All the other shit doesn't matter as much but if women will overlook everything then he's good.

Scorpio, Scorpion, Scorpion King album will still sell so it's whatever

The fact that people think Drake is going to lose tons of female fans because he has a baby mama is laughable. Most damning thing to me about the record was the black face thing. But the thing getting the most traction is his kid because people love gossip.
