Short answer yes. Long answer, there are a couple variations on what could be considered stealth kills as well as special powers that can be combo'd from stealth as well as a particular ultimate attack that sends you INTO and out of stealth
Karak, are there any good evil options or does it feel its hard to sort of turn him into a truly malicious jerk?
I love playing a bad guy in games but he seems like the kind of character with an already formed characterization that has choices based on how he would rationalize doing what he has to do.

Sure I mean your entire existence is deciding who to kill and each time you do their last thoughts resonate in your head and the more you kill the more chance you have of causing an entire district to evacuate and if they do then you can go back into that district and usually find some hints of folks who have died because of you, monsters that were humans in the game(with voiceovers) and a good deal more
And that doesn't the various actions you can take as you learn folks secrets

Played for about an hour and a half so far. So far, music and atmosphere is top notch. Music in particular really stands out. Facial animations are a bit jank (but to be expected honestly from a game of this budget).
I wish I didn't have to worry about real life so I could just play more. Hoping I get some time over the week and the weekend to continue playing, I'm loving what I see so far.

I'm not sure if it's just me but do random custom markers keep appearing on anyone else's map? I'm not sure if I keep hitting some keyboard shortcut that keeps creating them or something, but it seems that as I'm playing, either a bug, or something of my own doing, is creating a bunch of custom markers that I have to open the map to clear.
A couple of times I've quit out to fool around with stuff I've loaded up just about where I left off.
Still early on but really liking it so far. Main thing that posses an issue for me is the difficulty level of combat - it's very easy and lenient and if it continues like that it'll probably lessen all the systems associated with it. Like even after mashing and getting hit multiple times I'll still be at like 80% health and that's without using the insta-heal.

That's another thing, I just can't work out what this game wants me to do.
The story seems to centre around saving this hospital, but then I should also be killing people there for the XP.
What should I be doing?
Is the hospital chapter 2? Cus that's where I am. And yeah, just talking to everyone I can, lol.
Also, Dr. Ackroyd is gonna get it.
Generally talking to people enough to get investigations is a good start. You can always move on and start the next story mission. You won't mess anything up by experimenting. Feel free to just explore and take it at your pace.

So if im on PC, what are the technical issues that are hurting reviews? Quest stuff that i need to wait for a patch or is it console performance?
Have played it for three hours so far and haven't seen anything. Loads quick (installed on an SSD) and was was locked at 60 on ultra/1440p before I unlocked it with a 1080ti. Seems pretty good to me.
Great opening. Combat misses impact but otherwise i quite like it. Music is really good. Liked the few bits of side info and lore pieces i picked up already. The game's atmosphere already has me in its grips. I feel pretty positive so far, hope it stays that way.
Been listening to the soundtrack a bit. Olivier Deriviere continues being one of my absolute favourite composers in video games.
4k 60 fps....the fucking music is amazing. sets the tone so good. that intro was pretty dope, loved when the title kicked in. so far so good, jank included lol.
you cant have them at the start, you'll get them in like 1~ hour of gameplay

How many endings are we talking and how extreme do they get in terms of obtaining them? Like I imagine there's ones for being a good vampire or full on fiend, but to get those do you have to go all in? I suppose I'm thinking specifically on the good ending. Does it have to be full pacifist or can I kill a few people?
So this game plays like a Dark Soul? Then count me out, cause im not a fan of souls games and its clones.
It seems way different from a Souls game tbh, no idea where you are getting that impression. I mean I guess they are both Action RPGs? But that's a very broad subgenre.

The combat isn't as smooth as the Souls games, but it's the same template of lock on and stamina management.
So can you go full evil and just drink everyone from the start? I imagine doing so, if possible, will trigger some fail state where the game ends way early probably with the worst ending?
I've been enjoying the game a bit, the side characters and their quests have been a good bit of fun so far and the combat, while still janky, is notably better than expected.
I planned to go the no eating civilian route, but man, Clay is making it tough already.
