Indeed. He needs to get out of all those contracts soon as he can. Drake should be thanking Pusha because it seems like he's trying to talk some sense into him. It's time to go rogue. He doesn't need any of those parasites anymore.
Those leeches and serpents he was mouthing off about are in his camp too

My God this J Prince shit is so embarrassing

Drake looks like such a little bitch, having Daddy spend all week doing interviews to cover your ass. GTFO.

Bruh

J Prince hustled Drake. He's about to drop some book and used this as a front to get infront of every camera / radio and push it.

Drake has taken the ultimate L

You guys telling me that Aubrey had a 100k bounty for info on Pusha at the same time he had info that would have ended Kanye's multimillion dollar career?

Even if drake responds it's been talked up like the magic bullet that killed jfk, so if it didn't live up to the hype, which it wouldn't, he still lost.

KTT/Coli speculation about what Drake's track could've been is wild.

-Kanye getting head from a transsexual celebrity (forgot her name)

They buggin'

Yaaaaayyyy just what I wanted from the modern rap scene - more casual shaming of trans people and people who love them.

My theory is Drake didn't have a track and this is just bullshit to save face.

With the kid, that's another hand in Drake's money. If that Adidas deal falls through, that's more money gone. I know some of y'all don't think it'll happen, but his brand will always be tied to that song and blackface, even if they change the name.

Plus whatever deal he had with Sophie will probably change. That song had to emboldened her.

He doesn't want to make it official because then the law gets involved and he'll have to pay more.

"I have the best response song ever that will murder everybody but I'm not gonna release it"

it's like john mccain saying he knows how to kill bin laden but he won't tell us

or like that kid in school saying he has a girlfriend 2 towns over that no one knows because she really doesn't exist

lmaoooooo

So Pusha T talks about his entire family tree and dying friend, and people are theorizing that his response will be something like, "Kanye gay, yo". That's the death diss he's holding back?

He can't be that stupid.

duppy freestyle: "hey push here's a diss for you, sigh" :most of the track is aimed at ye:

story of adidon: "hey drake dissing ye is cool and all but come at me bruh. I want all the smoke. let's go."

phantom diss: .........more shots at ye

drake's not that dumb right?

The fact that there's all this talk about Drake having ammo on Kanye and going at Kanye rather than Push when he specifically said lets put the ghost writing and drugs aside is just another L for Drake. This has nothing to do with Kanye, going at him in response just shows Push is right and Drake is a fucking fraud. I will still enjoy his singles, but any respect I had for Drake is done. He'll be fine because his fan base is made up mostly of 16 year old white girls, but he'll never have valid credit in the rap community now.

There is no secret diss. The entire point of mentioning it is to try and soften the L and get Drake fans to speculate on it and bring it up for years and years to come as if it's actually a thing and not just a non-existent urban legend. Drake and J. Prince are full of shit.

Continuing to go at kanye would be so weak and a tacit admission that drake has no angle of attack against push

Why is Kanye even discussed? Kanye fed Push the info or what?

Seems like as some are saying its just damage control to try and ease the pain.

Even for arguments sake we say yes there is a track ready to go, the fact Drake would even consider letting J Prince talk for him and tell the world it isn't being released only makes Drake look more of a fraud. He looks like a total sucka right now and doesn't even realise.

What kinda niggas does he roll with that nobody is telling this dude to fix up and stop being a bitch.

J Prince playing Drake and using the situation for his own benefit while Drake sits on the sidelines.

I assume once Drake starts the press tour for his new album all media will be told questions on Pusha T, Blackface, Sophie and and his son are off limits.

Hey in rap beef anything goes apparently.

I know you're being facetious so I'm kinda rambling lol, but while "you've secretly been romantically involved with men/trans people" fits the bill of adding drama, that probably has a much higher risk of backfiring than even a tasteless but not particularly aggressive line about MS these days. And it doesn't seem like a majority of people are really that interested in all these bars that deflect towards producers or other people instead of the main target, people have mainly latched on to the things that directly concern Drake like the blackface and baby, while all the stuff about 40, Drake's parents, Kanye, Pusha's brother, and his fiancé have lost steam pretty quickly.

Once these things start getting broader attention it usually turns into a game of the dozens to see who can tactfully cause the most drama and fuckery until one side runs out of (good) material. Back 2 Back is a pretty dumb song in that it basically makes fun of a moderately-popular rapper for dating an even more popular rapper and whining on Twitter a lot (man, what a failure at life), and TSOA probably isn't much more mature, but just like the most popular 90s and early 2000s tracks observers enjoy the insults, jokes, and drama where you don't need to even care about hip hop to follow along with it. I feel there is an art to this though, or else rappers wouldn't get props in the broader culture for winning. Duppy and whatever Meek's response was (it was so forgettable I don't remember the name anymore lol) lost and have been or will be mostly forgotten in hip hop history because they were "boring" and have nothing interesting to latch on to. There's like a gazillion diss tracks out there that are more "regulated" for those who are looking for that or keep complaining that these tracks are too gossipy or mean or whatever, and of course there's the whole rap battle scene, they just don't get as much attention because the people involved aren't famous enough or the shots fired are too "tasteful" for people who just want the gory stuff.

Yeah, apparently Abel just gave him a lot of shit he had (or so Ive been told) to just get put on? but like I would've loved to hear his versions of some of the tracks

The windy city
What isn't adding up is that j Prince is saying that the track Drake has would have personal stuff for both pusha and Kanye.(stuff that could kneecap Pusha and Kanye careers)

In the story of adidon black face and Drake hiding his baby mama with the baby(also the baby rollout) were the only things Pusha dug up from him personally(the mama stuff was out here) the rest was public information(the 40,dad and mom shots). So why can't Drake just put the Pusha dug up stuff and also just do the same thing as Push with using public info to diss Kanye and any one else Drake wants?

Why bring up Kanye if you don't need to according to them to bring down Push himself?

This to me is the biggest hole in the story.

So does Drake still take an L if he drops a diss track but it's not as venemous and line crossing as Story of Adonis?

Because Scorpion is going to have very vague subs that people are gonna take as shots to Pusha anyways. Drake's kinda in a bind, which is kinda an L in itself.

It'll be an L if it's not good and then there's the fear of an L from Push's response.

It's L the second J Prince went on PR tour for him, once again showing he doesn't really connect with Hip-Hop community like that. Which is cool, but the facade he was putting up is, even more, see-through. His career will fine, but he shouldn't expect to be in no ones top 5 IMO.

I mean, kanye said it's done and j Prince is spending half his book tour talking about drake. Right now it's over and drake took the L. Maybe cancel the adidas deal and stick with Jordan and pray the kid ain't his lol. Like biggest thing he can do is just show that pusha t was going off rumours and nothing solid, just don't address this stuff directly about the song.

He needs to come out with some strong summer anthems and walk away from this pusha t fiasco. Maybe put some out a song with Justin Bieber and a harder track with Wayne.

He already took an L by letting Pusha have the last word on the beef, it would be a self-inflicted L to dredge the beef up again when he wanted it squashed.

you can't just be like "nah it's not my kid" after being radio silent for this many days

the only acceptable way to play that card is if his first public appearance back is on Jerry Springer with the results coming back negative

so like... I'm still gonna listen to scorpion whenever that happens,

but as a hip hop fan, i would've have more respect for drake if he responded with even a garbage diss. this tough guy just ghosted when his momma got attacked, his father got clowned, and one of his best friends got reminded that he doesn't have a lot of sand left in his hourglass. and then you let someone profit off your mess via a fucking book tour? bro say something smh this dude got punk'd and he deserves the clowning he's receiving

also can't believe this has 109 pages lmao

Drake's holding this L for life unless he can uncover some career ruining secret of Pusha's which seems impossible considering he's been rapping about dealing coke for 15 years and he just destroyed your whole family

So let me get this straight, the ammo Drake has on this "devastating" diss track is that Kayne is gay? LMAO. Dudes out here thinking its 1998 or some shit lol. Kayne being gay or bi would actually help Kanye and hurt Drake if Drake dissed him for being gay or bi. This basically confirms to me that they have nothing and they are just out here talking a bunch of shit and throwing something out there hoping something stick so the Drake stans have something to say back when people clown on Drake. J prince out here making it way worse for Drake than it needs to be.

Yup. This is why they had beef, Drake didn't like the fact Weeknd went on his own essentially instead of staying on OVO.
