Damn. How we already have yet another 11/10 chapter. Wow, there's a lot to unpack here.
- Ah, guess I was wrong about Big Mom not caring about Zeus. She does care after all, wants him back. Makes sense since he was with her since he was a kid, almost would be a waste of lifespan. On a side note, it's hilarious then that this confirms that there's been a thunderstorm hanging over WCI that has nothing to do with Zeus. Maybe it's some really bad weather, or maybe it's because of her Haki.
- But yea, the fact that we have Big Mom and Kaido talking like it's nothing just completely blew my mind. It blew my mind when I read the spoilers for it, and it blew my fucking mind seeing the actual page. All those theories of Big Mom crashing Wano, and while it may come true after all, it's happening in a way absolutely no one expected. Hype. As. Fuck. And the best part about their conversation, the detail about there being a period in time where they got along well. What the fuck?! Just goes to show how badly we underestimated the relationship between the Yonkos. I don't know how this semi-alliance (Actually, it's not even really an alliance, they're both gonna do whatever the hell they want) will play out, but Luffy is fucked.
- And wtf is that debt she has over him? To think Oda would create a mystery more compelling than what Ivankov has over Crocodile...
- I like the clarification that the Yonko basically don't care if the Marines show up. Because when reading the spoilers, I thought it was weird that the Yonko didn't have access to Den Den Mushis that couldn't be traced, like what Dragon has. But when you're that strong, I guess it doesn't matter. That Kizaru shows absolutely no fear in going to deal with the situation either speaks highly of his strength, or he's a bigger troll than I thought. Although I guess it's completely possible that he'd bring another Admiral with him.
- But then we have Akainu of all people shut that down for the time being, indirectly hyping up the samurai at Wano. Hmm.... Actually, going off of what Garp and co. said, seems the Marines won't show up after all? Kind of confused here.
- JFC, even with two Yonko breathing down Luffy's neck, Garp still gives no fucks. Wow. He does have a good point though about how they need their security here for the time being, seeing as how it's the Reverie and all.
- So these two Vice-Admirals were candidates to become Admirals. You know, I actually never knew they were characters until this arc began. I dunno, I watched Film Gold and everything, but this info just completely slipped by me. Anyways, that's really dope, I hope they'll actually be revelant, as Vice-Admirals could definitely use the hype.
- Why Hina calling Garp "Garp-kun" tho (And did she always speak in third-person?)
- So if I'm reading this correctly, Big Mom and Kaido used to be in the same crew? Wow.... Their captain is gone, but are they dead? Is that the "legend" Oda was referring to? WTF is going on here!
- Hollow/Empty Throne. GoT jokes abound I'm sure. Oda's focus on Stelly is very interesting to me. I can't tell if it's just for the Reverie, or if the dude will end up failing upwards to a position no one expects him to obtain.
- Damn, already trying to kidnap Shirahoshi. I fucking detest Charloss.
- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rob fucking Lucci !!!!!!! Kaku!!! I had hopes they'd be here, but seeing them in the flesh is so satisfying lmao. Good to see Stussy here as well. I like that the other guy is still unrevealed to us. I wonder if Lucci is the strongest/the leader. That said, as hyped as I am, goddamn Lucci is such a dick.
- Shoutout to my dude Hattori as well.
- The anger Neptune feels in this moment reminds me very strongly of what Arlong, Jinbe, and Fisher Tiger have gone through. The temptation is strong, and I can't fault Neptune to succumbing to it, that's his damn daughter after all. That said, I'm amazed that even as she's in the midst of being kidnapped, Shirahoshi is still able to tell her father to not give in to the hate. It's a very underrated trait of hers that I really appreciate.
- Just gonna savor this moment:
- I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be happy to see another Celestial Dragon. For Otohime's past kindness to have come full circle like this is immensely satisfying. And on top of that, Mjosgard belongs to Doffy's family, yoooooooooooo (Also I like how he looks "normal" now lol)
Shanks. Is. At. The. Reverie.
