So I peeped this,

In the first trailer, Ellie says shes gonna kill them all

In this trailer, Ellie is thinking about her lost love who obviously isnt there while shes hunting some cult.

That cult fucked everything up and killed everyone and Ellie decides to avenge for herself

The hiding under the car is scripted to me, to show the tense that the game could offer. And how she runs away from the bow user enemy instead of finishing her off is also scripted, so that they can show later that you can use an enemy as a shield. The way she conveniently move to the other side of the cover so that she could get away from coming female enemy from the right is also scripted. The camera didn't show that enemy approaching from the right, if I were the player I'd just stay there.
I think you mean it's one of the ways you could go about playing that level. Not exactly what I would call scripted.

Love the gore.

Love the violence.

Love how she could get into narrow spaces.

Love the insane graphics.

I hope we could get prone mechanic ala MGSV.

I await the hot take articles from the press this week about how upsetting the violence/gore is. Then when they get off of work they'll proceed to watch game of thrones or the walking dead.
I'm sure Waypoint already has at least 4 thinkpieces done by midnight.
Lol! on a completely different note, I'm fucking happy naughty dog did fulfill on not having female enemies in the first game...

I have full confidence we will experience AI mechanics in similar ways we saw in the trailer.

ND has already shown how dynamic their combat is in the last two games they made, coupled that with what they learned in the first TLoU, I don't think we're going to have an issue with this being too ambitious.

Ive beaten it on Grounded, the Ai was downgraded from E3, plus the AI partners clip through a lot of objects/run through enemies unnoticed. Still a 10/10 game, but that original E3 demo was too ambitious.

The ai teammates being unnnotice was a gameplay decision because they don't want the game to be one long escort mission with them fucking up stealth parts.

I think I'm confused by what you call scripted. I thought you meant scripted as in it's the only way those things can be done and everyone has to do it. The stage demo choosing to take the girl hostage instead of killing her earlier is a choice or option to me not something scripted. I think I agree they chose to do things how they did to show off certain tech things, but I don't think they *had* to do it that way. In the regular game you can just rush her and kill her early I would think.

Makes sense, she could also be kidnapped by this cult or something but I'm betting she's dead too.

Do we need to spend bullets to break free of human grabs in this game? Or did they shoot the enemy just because it looks cool?

It would be kind of interesting to have to spend a bullet in that situation. Similar to using shivs to escape Clicker grabs in the first game, but a more dynamic currency.

Ah yes, I think that's what I was trying to say. It's not scripted by the game, it's scripted by the demo walkthrough.

Yeah, it's more of a fixed or planned moment (for demo purposes) than scripted.

Clearly coincidence.

Why would Disney censor this? Last I heard they are a progressive company. Hell, they were giving benefits to their employees same sex partners in 1995, long before anyone else. They got a lot of shit for it too.
It's not because it's same sex, it because it's kissing scene on a kids channel.

With PS4's better hardware & more experience, it likely will be pretty close to E3, my only complaint about the Ai is them checking under cars makes for an easy headshot, but that's a cool Ai feature so ill let it pass.

It alerts all the neighbouring enemy AIs though.

Am I the only one who always tries to stealth kill every single one of the enemies?

I actually specifically don't really watch that show because rather than being about zombies, it's mostly just about waiting to see people kill each other in horrible ways in a world where there are zombies.

It's not that i'm averse to violence in games, I have absolutely no problems with it in general. Stuff like fatalities in MKX or chainsawing people in half in Gears is great. But games that aim for that level of violence also clearly don't aim for the kind of realism that TLoU2 does, nor do they tend to take themselves as seriously.
Well good that you have the option to not buy & to not play the game. And we fans of the TLOU2 can.
Everybody wins.

People need a reality check. Remember the Killzone 2 reveal?

The game will NOT look like this "gameplay". It looked way to good for it to be a PS4 and the AI and animations were impossible in a real game.

I love the lesbian representation and the game looks so damn good but I think people will blame SJWs like usual when it comes to this stuff unfortunately.

Yup, that's what I believe too (if Joel is a "partner" through the game).

You kinda get the tone that Ellie wants vengeance is just coming along from the first trailer.

I do hope that they'll do that. It'll be a really interesting role reversal. The growth of Joel's and Ellie's relationship throughout the first game was the highlight of the game for me.

Wonder if Joel will be calling Ellie: "GIRL"

Hahaha

Guys Disney didn't fucking censor an LGBT kiss. They literally showed the kiss, the next ten seconds Ellie was about to have a shank in a guys throat in close up.

It was a poorly executed showing of an adult rated conference on a channel designed for kids ages 5-13

They literally showed dudes getting dismembered in Tsushima. Stop trying to deflect criticism here.
