I'm heartbroken I missed the Beyonce emote. But alas, if I liked Destiny 2 I should have put a ring on it.
Is that unobtainable now or something? I wouldn't mind it.
The campaign's sole purpose is to teach the mechanics needed for endgame. Warmind's story missions serve that purpose real well. Nice quick roller coaster and on to the end game.
Also, regarding leveling up, I now have 2 characters at 385 and have just been knocking out milestones since Warmind launch. Make sure you knock those out one by one. Each time you get a peace of gear to level you up, use your tokens and turn them in to level all your gear up to the new baseline. Once you've done that, do the next milestone.

I haven't had any issues getting matches in crucible (granted, I play the 5 I need for the Milestone and get the hell out of there) and my clan consistently has 15+ people online. No issues setting up Raids or getting folks to team up for Nightfalls or strikes. (I'm on Xbox and have only had to resort to the built in LFG a handful of times to find an extra for a raid or something)
I think 'dead' is context sensitive in this case.
If you got the season pass, I say you might as well play Warmind. It's quite good. Even play Osiris as well if you haven't already. It'll certainly fulfill the quantity of content quota playing both DLC back to back.

Slow fire rate is the only dowside. I do like it (I like Scout rifles) although it could do with being quicker to fire.

how the hell are people on console DDOSing? how do you see the IPs of people in the instance? via router?
I mean you can just check Resource Manager in Windows for the IPs of the other people on PC. I thought on console it would be significantly harder, but I guess not.

Weird, I always wonder where the hell random people are finding me. I mean in tower I get it, somebody sees you, maybe sees 380 plus light, thinks "hey, this guy can help do x y and z since I'm only 340" or whatevs, invites you.

Armor pieces are always in a set order so you'll always get the class item first.
So I stopped playing back in October after I felt I did everything there was to do in the game, minus the super hard raid. Since I got a PC recently and I subscribe to humble monthly, I figured I'd jump back in. It's insane how much the change in platform has increased my enjoyment of the game. 144 refresh rate, significantly shorter load times make a huge, huge difference in me wanting to play more and wanting to return the next day. I bought the expansion pack and am halfway through Osiris, but I'm definitely enjoying it more the second go around. Even crucible, which I genuinely disliked on both D1 and D2 on playstation. I'm playing completely solo, but so far, this is really fun playing again.

So, just bored really but I'm doing some of the Mediation missions this week to get tokens to acquire the Titan armor set from Ikora on PC. Did the radio tower mission from CoO (called Deadly Trial or something?) and realized that there is a rather large explorable area behind the tower in the EDZ that I had no idea was there before that ultimately leads to a tunnel that is blocked off by one of those Fallen light-barricade thingy. Probably nothing but seems like the perfect "if you get here fast enough there is something on the other side type thing."

No, it absolutely does not when it's a twenty dollar add-on. Compare that to amount of content in Frozen Wilds or Blood & Wine, and you should feel nothing but embarrassment for Bungie.
My issue is, these milestones are quite boring. I was hoping there was a way to climb the Light ladder with something slightly more interesting, but I suppose not.
Definitely gonna hold off on Forsaken till some impressions roll in. After being burned by these fools twice, I'd be an even greater fool for throwing money at them blindly again.
Shoulda done it week 1 and 2. Everything after wave 4 was intense as fuck and every clear came down to the fuckin wire. Was amaze.
Now? Fucking sucks. You sleep walk through 6 levels, then attention is only required for long enough to group-kill Shriekers. Bosses melt in literally 15 seconds of sustained fire.
One more week for me to complete my Worldline Zero and I'm done with PE for the forseeable future. Maybe for the rest of the season.
You know what would have kept me coming back? Challenge. Maybe trying to 3-man it will be enough. It's just...there are no rewards for me to chase anymore other than a pat on the back.

Money/Value is subjective so there isn't much grounds for me to argue with you on value as that depends entirely on one's own finances verses time investment. I've already gotten 30+ hours out of Warmind, so for me, the time/entertainment investment was easily met for just $20.
If I could make a comparison to the game that brought me to destiny, I will. I've never played Diablo for the story. If anything, the grind from Level 1-70 is something done in 5 minutes in a group so you can start the actual game, the end game of Paragons/Rifts/Greater Rifts in D3. I treat Destiny the same way. Get me to the grind, get me to doing missions/strikes/raids with friends.
As for the issue with milestones, I'm not sure what to tell you. It's a loot grind game, you have to grind to level up.
Warmind's story served to open up Escalation Protocol as well as show you the tactics which are heavily used in the new Raid lair with the throwing/aiming of orbs which were used in the Xol/Nokris missions.
According to Reddit, Byf said it was Fillion in the mission he played. I'd trust him over some no-name site saying it didn't sound like Fillion.
If it's not, that's a problem and Bungie should get out in front of it. Because Fillion is known to love doing this stuff. If fans are left to speculate, they're going to go in the direction of Bungie being cheap and decided to kill off Cayde so they don't have to pay Fillion anymore.
Stevior isn't actually a no-name. But regardless of who said it, Bungie's response to his inquiry is weird. If it was Nathan, why not just say it was Nathan instead of talking around it? What does it hurt to be truthful about the voice actor?

I honestly question if the conversation happened as it's stated in that article. It comes across as too weird, as if they were trying to hide it when we'll all know when the game comes out.
So if it's true, they need to get ahead of it now. If they try to get the game out and sneak that fact by players, they're going to be in for a backlash.
I mean, there will be a rightful backlash if they dropped Fillion anyway but it would be even worse if they tried to hide it.
If Cayde stays dead Fillion had no role anyways. The reasoning behind the scenes (if there was any) doesn't matter to me as that's between Bungie/Activision and someone they contracted/employed (and I've been a Fillion fan since Firefly, ODST, etc but I'm not going to get into all the conspiracy stuff about pay and whatnot). I mean if it is a different voice-actor and Cayde comes (or doesn't) back I'm fine with that too.
While I'm invested in the lore I'm more concerned with gameplay, play-spaces, making engrams (Blue/Legendary/Exotic) meaningful outside of Milestones/Powerful/Luminous rewards, progression reasons to log-in on a daily basis, and simply more (variety) activities to do daily/weekly.

Right but if this was legitimately done for story reasons (as Bungie has gone on record saying), then they would have Nathan voice him the final time.
If it's not Nathan, then it's going to be hard to argue that their idea of wanting to do something darker and surprise audiences isn't just a cover for, "We dropped him because we didn't want to pay him." It's hard to take anything else from that.
Which would be lame as hell and, to me personally, put a negative shadow over Forsaken.

I did about 3 straight hours of Escalation Protocol and no fucking shotgun. I have at at least 10 full completions this week. What's the drop rate on this thing? I kind of want to keep going, but not if my chances are miniscule.
Got Sleeper and Polaris Lance this week. I think I'm out of shit I can do solo since I won't be able to level up til next Tuesday. Time to find something else to play.
It's the best power weapon in the game for most PvE content with a particular talent for killing bosses.
