FAQ
FAQ
- What is Four Job Fiesta ?
FJF is a challenge run where you are assigned a job for each character that you have to stick with for the entirety of the game. A variety of rules can be added in order to spice up your experience. The goal is to beat the game, but you can also try to beat the superbosses.
- What makes it interesting ?
Final Fantasy V is a flexible enough game to allow for a wide variety of customization so adding a challenge on top of it allows for creativity to thrive and give further room for experimentation. It's not simply a matter of completing the game, but doing it with the cards that have been dealt. It also brings a way to discuss about the game and share our strategies.
- How do I register ?
You have to tweet to GILGABOT (@FF5forFutures) and use hashtags that denotes your run choice. Hashtags are listed in the help page. You need a twitter account to participate.
- What version can I use ?
SNES, GBA and the Smarpthone/Steam version are allowed.
- How do I get my job assigned ?
- How do I confirm I beat the game ?
You need to take a screen capture or a picture of your four jobs beating the final boss and tweet it to GILGABOT with the hashtag #Victory. The website can also log your victory against Shinryu and Omega with #VictoryShinryu and #VictoryOmega

Charity & Pledging
The 2016 Edition of FJF raised $19365.61 for Child's Play Charity. The 2018 edition will also give 100% of the donations to the same charity!
On top of simply donating, you can pledge money for every condition that you self-impose to yourself like pledging to give money if you complete or fail your run, or for every game over that you have come across. It is not mandatory to donate or pledge, but greatly appreciated.
_______
THE RUN!
Before FJF kicks off, selected players will stream a race of Final Fantasy V with jobs that were selected by you. You can vote once towards a job, or give money to charity to boost your vote further. Several incentives are available like defeating the superboss Omega if 12.500$ is met for the final incentive. The Run page is available here.

Run Options
These are the options that you can add on top of your run choice
NATURAL
Bartz must use the Wind crystal job. Water for Lenna, Fire for Faris and Earth for Galuf/Krile.
Characters must remain Freelancers until their job is unlocked.
Characters cannot use skills from other jobs. You have to keep the skills of your assigned job.
UPGRADE
You will only use your Wind Job until you unlock your Water Job. Water until you unlock Fire, and then Fire until you unlock Earth. Then once you unlock your Earth job will be the job you use until the end of the game. Any abilities learned from the previous jobs may be used.
FIFTH JOB
Krile will receive her own job, losing the access to the previous Earth job assigned to Galuf.
BERSERKER RISK
For every 10$ donated, a player with the Berserker risk option will be assigned a Berserker. If there are more Berserkers to be assigned than players with the risk, players will have a chance of receiving multiple berserkers for a single run.

Credits: assets used and creation of the FJF goes to revenantkioku . I didn't know if RK would create a thread this year since he doesn't post on here anymore so I went ahead. Don't treat it as an OT if he has plans to make his own thread until the Fiesta starts.
