I am not the biggest fan of Uncharted 4, but this trailer is absolutely incredible. It's so well edited it doesnt feel like a fan made trailer. The last 30 seconds are amazing.

Kinda spoilery since it pretty much spoils all three of the big setpieces in the game, but it's definitely worth watching. I found it during E3 when it had around 50k views and it has since gotten over 40k more views in just a few days.

While the trailer is fantastic, it kind of underlines how few setpieces there were in the game. the chase sequence was long and absolutely amazing but that was pretty much it. there was a nice fun 2v1 battle with Nadine and some exploding bridges sequences shown in this trailer but nothing compared to Uncharted 2 and 3's numerous setpieces and chase sequences. While i appreciate the longer 15-30 hour campaigns of Uncharted, Horizon and God Of War this gen I kind of miss last gen's 8 hour campaigns full of boss fights of setpieces. 4.5 years into this gen and nothing has topped MGS4, God of War 3 and uncharted 2 when it comes to action setpieces and boss fights.

Too bad the game was not good.

Edit: not good is pushing it. The trailer makes the game look better than it actually is. I was just frustrated by being so hyped and being let down.

I saw this trailer a few months ago and loved it. It's really well made and it makes it seem like a Mission Impossible movie while also making MI seem like an Uncharted game. Also Uncharted 4 is one of my favorite games of this generation.

There were far more than 3 or 4 set pieces in Uncharted 4, but as described before the game released, they were more intimate. The simulation quality meant they couldn't go crazy like with the earlier games or it would shatter the suspension of disbelief; so most of UC4s "set pieces" became these intimate little sequences like the cliff jeep fall

There is already a very good argument that it's one of the best games this gen anyway.
It is. I rate it a 9.6/10, but it had two issues that kept it from being a 10/10 like the Witcher 3 and GOW.

THIS IS SO GOOD!

May have to fire the PS4 Pro up and give this one more spin.

EDIT: UC4's lack of action set pieces wouldn't be so glaring if the game wasn't so long. I think it's more of a pacing issue than anything.

yeah there were several intimate setpieces but we usually get those in their TLOU franchise. when we all wanted a next gen Uncharted, we wanted the next gen version of those OMG HOLY SHIT moments Uncharted is known for. We got maybe three of those max. Very disappointing.

This trailer didnt have many of those intimate setpieces because they dont make for a good action trailer.

Seeing as Uncharted 4 is basically Naughty Dog stretching the technical capabilities of the PS4 in order to reach the glory of Tom Cruise, this is very fitting.

Man that was so good. Also hypes me up for the new Mission Impossible as that has had one of the best edited trailers I've seen in awhile.

I loved the game (might start LL tomorrow) but it was a step down in terms of set pieces.

It arguably has the best set piece in the entire franchise (the Madagascar chase), but not enough of them.

2 and 3 had a lot of quality ones.

I have been thinking about Uncharted style Mission Impossible game for years. I just imagine the set pieces and awesome the tense they could be. Get on Naughty Dog.

I'm playing U4 again on a HDRTV and I really do think it's one of the top best games of the gen. It's up there with Witcher and Breath of the Wild for me.

The paceing is actually one of the best things about it, it makes you appreciate the combat encounters more.

Though obviously following the structure and beats of the IM trailer, great editing and love the soundtrack.

Man, makes me think of doing a replay of UC4, but I just don't have the time and a big backlog to boot.

Despite all of the hardship behind the scenes of this game (seriously everybody should go read Blood, Sweat, and Pixels), it still ended up being a game that I absolutely love, more so than even TLoU I think. Druckmann and Straley are absolute masters.

Take out the Scotland chapter and Uncharted 4 is just as good as UC2 and Lost Legacy to me. Shame they couldn't work out the stamina meter due to the troubled development.

Great trailer.

Awesome trailer, really makes the game look exciting. Taking all the best snippets out of the game, but contrary to what most people here are saying I thought it was perhaps one of the most boring games I've ever played.

They really need to just go straight up Spy movie video game next time and drop the treasure hunting stuff for a new IP

Uncharted 4 was awesome. Loved it to pieces. This trailer got me super hyped to play it again, but my backlog is too big!

That's funny to see that cause I just started my 5th (or maybe 6th I don't even know lol) playthrough of UC4 yesterday. Love that game and I've always been a fan of the trailers people have made with Uncharted games based on various movies.

Most boring is a tad excessive, but it's not a game that i would want to replay despite it being decent. Great trailer tho.

It is such a great game. The chase setpiece will go down as one of the best action setpieces ever in gaming, if not THE BEST

The only one that can rival it... is The Lost Legacy final setpiece

Great trailer.
Scotland had two chapters. They need to take out three of the first five chapters.

- Prison Break chapter went on for far too long.
- The young drakes chapter was boring and long.
- Work chapter was boring. Went on far too long.
- Home chapter was fun, but it came right after three slow chapters. Poor pacing.

Chapter 12 with those islands had no real gameplay. i think there was maybe one puzzle and no combat in an hour long chapter.
Chapter 13 was all climbing and walking and talking with just one combat encounter that they revealed at PSX.
Chapter 16 with young drake brothers was also way too long for a chapter where you do nothing really. no puzzles, no platforming, no combat. its a glorified hour long cutscene.

Final few chapters were great. But then again, i dont think anyone bought this game to see Drake work out his marriage issues.

Do you play nothing but Platinum games or something? It's far from a boring game.
