still the worst pokemon game youve ever played?
personally, i'm really enjoying it. really surprised by that. its addictive.
I made it to the boss of level 8 and progressed through 9 and 10 until about halfway. My team is Charizard, Blastoise and Golem(recently it replaced my Onyx) but now it's getting more difficult to survive. I'm going to grind for more ingredients a Dratini and Abra. I'm surprisngly having fun playing this game.
Are there any lists/references for the best moves for the different types/pokemon?
Now that I've won the gaming using the popular Golem-Alakazam-Machamp trio, I want to experiment with other DPS machines as I grind to complete my pokedex. I really want to grind a Dragonite but I don't know what move to pair with it.

Did you use the same exact recipe? You can make each type of soup with different recipes and get different results (pokemon). Serebii has a great section on it showing which generally nets better results.
Saw this on Reddit, its hand to keep on your phone or something.
Also just beat world 8 with my team with 8k power, thanks to my Graveler with 2k HP.
Is PIkachu actually considered special? I grinded to get enough ingredients to make the special dish for "Watt a Risotto" and got a Pikachu. He only had one slot for a skill too (though six open stone slots but I made a silver pot recipe for a higher level pokemon).
This will be better suited to mobile than the Switch (with it actually being a mobile game and all) so I'll download it again for that when it releases. Shame you can't transfer progress

I just started this today out of curiosity and I am so fucking addicted, you guys have no idea.
I'm dead serious thinking about buying the expansion pack for this game, I love it that much so far.

One slot isn't necessarily bad. It's more of a trade-off. Personally, I prefer having one-slot Pokemon because you can max out that one move with three stones. Also, the AI isn't liable to mess up as much when you let the game run on auto.
My team is now a wrecking unit but can't do anything against a goddam high level Snorlax. I reached him with over 2:30 left on the clock and he slept through it all!
Same. I def thought I would regret it but I do not. World 10 is a bitch of a grind.
3 Dotrios kicked my ass for so long in 10-6 and now gyrados in 10-boss
Can't seem to beat the final area, and it feels like I'm just endlessly grinding. I swapped out a few Pokemon with what seems to be a more approved party (Machamp, Lapras, Alakazam) and I'm still not having luck, and it seems I'm just playing the RNG churn game at this point.
I also wish opening the cooking pots and getting a Pokemon could happen a little faster. These really drag when you've seen them 100 times.

woow after i teach Draco Meteor to my Dnite i went from 12-2 to 12-7, holy damn that move is OP as hell.

I've been spending all my Icy Rocks on Dratinis for the last few days to try to teach my Dragonite Draco Meteor. I finally had to start the process over again because the learning percentages were getting too low. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time around.
The last 5 electric pokemon I got have been Pikachu. And it's annoying. I already have 7 now. I want something else!
Man, the Mewtwo fight is so damn random... I'm at 12000 strength and seem to have little potential to get high at any reasonable rate but I've had him down to 10% in one attempt already. The scatter command is just too unreliable, sometimes a monster will literally run right into the enemy or just into a wall.
I'm using the mons that I can find, currently an arcanine on melee duty (fire spin and flamethrower), onyx (rock fall) and executor (psychic, mud bomb) on ranged. All of them have lifesteal but executor uses it the most consistently, one psychic bolt will refill like 40% of its health.

I happen to have those two, but I'm starting to have trouble as I zero in on my final 20 or so Pokemon.

yeah, and im going to take a break from the game, feeling a bit burnout.
I've been stuck at the 12 boss for the best part of a week now. All my party is fully levelled up and new useful power stones hardly ever turn up from grinding the previous level. The timer means it's not going to happen. The RNG has beaten me. My Muk has acid armor and share stones to keep everyone alive but not enough firepower. There is no point in swapping him out if I wish to live through these waves.
Maybe mobile will make it feel like less of a chore but until then it's game over for me.

RNG is real. I've had 4 Porygon, and like 6 Pidgey.
Is there any downside to using the pots for lower level pokemon besides having to level them?
Already played over 40 hours and I love it, but I'm surprised there hasn't been any update so far.
1) They need to add more levels, game is way to short (especially if you buy the starter pack)
2) Menus are way too slow, they need to fix that
3) Tell us which ingredients you need for recipes you already unlocked
4) Add more abilities to power stores
