I'm all about those 2064 & VA-11 CEs this coming Friday. And I'm also down to go for a complete Switch set. I can't stress enough how much I love the limited preorder Windows for Switch games.

One last thing; is it just me or is there some passive-aggressive animosity between the Vita and Switch limited physical copy communities? Anyone else picking up on that?

Haven't really seen anything of the sort. Both communities seem cool and the Switch is kind of the natural successor for handheld gaming.

Well there was this feud I had with one Switch newcomer regarding the price increase but since then I don't recall being part nor witnessing any kind of rivalry.

The unfair price parity issue doesn't help though. Want to buy it on PS4 or Vita? Pay more so Switch version buyers can pay less, even though their format is a lot more expensive.

Eh... no specific evidence per say. Just the way Switch is talked about on various forums, comment sections and discords. Again, it might just be my perception.

I was so gun-ho about VA-11 HALL-A and ROM, but now I'm kind of second guessing myself thinking that in a couple months time they'll be released on Switch. I think I'm just going to go ahead and get them now, but not open them for a while just on the off chance that happens and I need to sell them.

Ouch. I had my first uncomplete box recently, because of a Held Orders that wasn't combined correctly. However they reacted promptly and sent me the rest of the games very quickly after I created a ticket. That was very professional.

I just want to chime in and say I've had nothing but an excellent experience with LRG regarding the issues I've had. The first time, I had to pay import taxes on my held order and they repayed me all of it very fast after I provided a receipt. The second time, just like in this case, one of the games in my held order wasnt shipped and they shipped it as soon as I told them. I get its not the same for everyone but I just wanted to say I was super happy with the how the customer support handled my cases.

Also, this is my first post in this thread despite me lurking since LRG started doing business. My first order was LRG #2 and I've since bought 30 or so releases. I'm also very happy with the recent trend of pre-orders even though I've never missed a game myself.

And a big thank you to everyone in this community! Without you I would've missed alot of games from LRG (and other places). <3

I also have nothing but good things to say about LR service. I ordered about 20 games so far and each of them came well packaged and with no issues.

The guy's reaction in the thread Shizuka posted seems ridiculous to me. It's totally fine to get mad about not receiving something that you were looking forward to, but then he shouldn't have used the hold service in the first place. Him saying "but money has actually been an issue recently, and if i knew i wasn't going to get the games anyway, i never would have placed the order." looks like a reason to "stir things up". Those games were for sale 4 months ago. Some people....

I had several huge combined shippings with 20+ games and the only minor issue was some missing loyalty tickets and they sometimes take a long time to ship (which is more of an issue because of the long manufacturing times).
In any case the customer support was always excellent

I received the order the other day and metronomicon was missing too. I opened ticket no : 25658 and still no answer and I'm pretty angry.

If I bought a copy of a game and use the service the company offers, why would it be crazy to expect that I'll get that copy whenever I decide to have my orders shipped? It's easy to blame the customer, but as someone who has been through this, I still can't believe customer support can't read something as simple as an invoice order, check which games the customer wants shipped and put those games in a box.

They didn't produce enough, and that's why they ignore tickets like blacksark's. Out of shame or fear, maybe ? They definitely should on the contrary try and clear the air.

(I'm not saying they never effed up on something else occasionally, but it has never been systematic)

I wasn't working there when Metronomicon came out, but from what I understand there was a quantity issue. It sounds like Doug and Sarah are already on top of it over on the official forums. Always reach out with issues, and you'll be taken care of. If your voice ever gets lost in the noise, reach out again, I promise you're not being ignored.

Edit: OMG. Orders were sent purposely without Metronomicon. They just didn't inform people there was an issue with that game before shipping. My initial question still stands. This is so weird.

So everyone has had to open a ticket and manually request a replacement, get denied, then get a refund.

i thought josh said Va-11 Hall-a was gonna have the highest vita numbers available? it's 201 short of beating One Way Heroics and Raygigant

also that ROM 2064 cover looks really good, i wish the PS4 version had it

also also i don't know if i'm being extra slow tonight but does LRG usually put up the next couple releases on the websites even if they aren't in the same week? i'm sure i only remember them putting in that current weeks releases

also whoever redesigned the PS4/Vita list on the LRG wikipedia page to mash them in together, i hate you

But "taken care of" might simply be a refund, when you'd actually ordered a game that either didn't ship or got damaged in shipping.

Dang, I'm nervous. Never really wanted to order anything from LRG before, but I want copies of ROM and Va11-HallA. Those run numbers are so small!
Also wish they'd say what's in the CE, although the connecting boxes idea is so cool I want it anyway.

Might be a bit small for ROM, but Va11-HallA has the highest Vita run they've done between standard and CE. I really would not worry about it's availability.

I guess it just feels small to me, but hey Limited Run is right in their title.
Is it first to the cart or first to completely check out rules? Like, can stuff sell out while I'm in the process of checking out?

Yeah... i'm glad that my focus is on Switch games now and they are all pre orders.

I just hope Salt and Sanctuary for PS4 will be a preorder too. I'm already nervous about that... I think it's one of the bigger games and maybe a lot of people want it.

Xenon Valkyrie+ for the PS4 would be also interessting for me but i don't have another game to order at that day and 15 USD shipping for that one game is too much.

From what I understand Metronomicon really is a unique case. I generally won't comment on stuff like this because I'm not support, shipping, or...Doug lol. But this just happened to be an instance where I didn't see him commenting here on it, and I knew he was over on the official forums so I wanted to carry that over here.

Yes, on their official forums Doug said there will be. At least ....for Switch. Not sure about PS4. It's apparent those sell a lot slower than the SWI ones, so maybe a smaller quantity on PS4? If at all.
