Yes, the sound setup was weak and the mic seemed faulty. Fortunately, my group was able to be within 40 feet of the speakers.
Was hot and muggy as hell, as usual for an Atlanta summer day. Still, I thought the crowd could've shown just a bit more fire. Although the reported 10,000+ turnout is fairly strong.

IMO that's part of the anger you're seeing. This administration wants to fuck everyone out of "entitlements" for anyone struggling. Especially people of color. 'Cause those or the only ones the 'base' will tolerate being ostracized.

The original goal was actually only $10k. Felicia had planned to just do a solo stream at a friends house and they said forget that, we'll do it big. So they arranged this whole thing pretty last minute. Funny or Die let them use their studio and the community of Felicia's friends, collegues, and co-workers all came through to make this happen.
Apparently it was $12,000 but yea, it's crazy by how much they exceeded the margin. Kind of reminds of when people were backing Pillars of Eternity/Project Eternity.
