It's not straight up horror, but Annihilation is pretty good. Especially if you want an unsettling and disturbing atmosphere.

Watch It Follows, one of the best horror movies in recent years.

Is 1922 the one that adapts King from Full Dark, No Stars? If so that was both a good movie and a great adaption of one of Kings more grounded works, the types of stories where the darkness sometimes wins.

Of the ones that haven't been mentioned The Temple is pretty good and has a Japanese forest as the setting. Not amazing by any stretch but good for Netflix subscribers who are a bit starved for horror content and it doesn't feel like a low budget movie which is refreshing.

Oh shit, I keep forgetting it's on Netflix everywhere EXCEPT the US. My bad. :(
No, it's cool. It's just a movie I am actually hyped about and you usually have a good handle on what's on tv and streaming. Just makes me anticipate it more. It may be taking longer but when it does go streaming it's still coming to Netflix.

Avoid "The Temple" at all costs.
Pretty interesting setup and building tension but the script disappears right when stuff is about to happen(15 minutes before the ending)

Worst final 15 minutes of a movie I have ever watched.

The Wailing and Eyes of my Mother are two of the best you'll find on Netflix.

Ravenous (2017) is a little known zombie film that's quite enjoyable. They Look Like People isn't on there any longer but it's a really tense descent into madness.

Creep and Creep 2 are really clever and hilarious horror mockumentaries by one of the Duplass brothers. Don't miss out on those.

If you have Prime, A Sacred Killing of a Deer is another slow burn of a film that's absolutely creepy and unnerving.

Lastly, I think Lake Mungo is up for free on tubi. That and Cropsey are two really creepy, haunting docu/mockumentaries.

Go to Amazon and rent Spring and The Endless. Both by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (they also star in The Endless). The Endless just came out last week on demand and has a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes out of 91 reviews (Spring had an 88%). The less you know about either film, the better. Spring is a body horror romance if that sways you.

I've only seen Spring but I remember enjoying it.

Nice to see all the love for 1922. Always seems to be overshadowed by Gerald's Game which was ok but I didn't enjoy nearly as much as 1922.

Someone mentioned The Endless, DO.NOT.WATCH The Endless without watching Resolution first. The Endless is a sequel to Resolution and answers a lot of the unexplained questions in Resolution and is essentially a pay off for Resolution. Makes the movie much better and more satisfying. Resolution is great though, up there with like Evil Dead 2 for Horror Comedy Satire. It's really funny and clever. The Endless is great too. Spring is real good as well, but the least clever of their 3 films so far. Very charming coming of age story though. Linklater's Before Sunrise x Lovecraft Tentacles.

Other good stuff is watch everyone else has mentioned. I don't like The Wailing but it's a good movie. Just a directed a little obtuse for me so didn't find it very satisfying on the first watch. Dark Song pissed me off because the plot was super interesting but then the main characters are both shitty awful stupid people and the last 1/3rd was a total let down for me. Ritual is pretty alright. It's tropey but well directed, ending is a bit silly but the spooky stuff is cool and has some originality in the end. I like how someone described it as a popcorn 6/10. For me it's probably more of a popcorn 7/10 because it's worth a watch. Creep 1's ok, felt it was a little long for what was essentially a short film concept. I still need to see 2. Devil's Candy was pretty solid, when you get the theme. Cargo is ok, but not really that much horror. It's not super great either, but maybe worth a watch. There's just not a lot of really great 9/10 or 10/10 recent horror films either in the theater or on Netflix these days unfortunately. More like a bunch of 6-8/10 mixed bag stuff. Oh well. Always new stuff coming out.

I think Raw is on Netflix. It Follows is much watch. I loved The Wailing but be warned it's like 3 hours long if I remember correctly.

How's Let Me In? I never saw Let The Right One In.

I think they're both good, but once you've seen one of them there's really no point in watching the other one. Let The Right One In was released first so I'd recommend that one unless you don't like watching movies with subtitles or US dubbing. ;)

Seconded, absolutely loved it.

Avoid The Witch if you actually want a movie with horror in it.

Watch "IT"
This is a terrible post. Also IT is far too new to be on Netflix, at least here anyway.

Let the Right One In is one of my favourite horror movies ever, and IMO Let Me In is by FAR the best horror remake ever, you really can't go wrong with either. The original Swedish one edges it for me, but that might just be because I seen it first.

I really liked Raw, it's a neat coming of age cannabilism tale that's pretty well directed (and really well acted by the main actress). The ending's a bit silly, but I'd probably take it over any of the recent horror films from the last fews years.

Tau is really not good for the record.
Tau has a really good "twist". NetFlix horror seem to be big on twists but not so much story.

It's a great adaptation, Jane is great in it, and while it's atmospheric, it is definitely not on the level of the VVitch. A great psychodrama with some horror elements. Worth a watch for sure.
1922 is really, really good.

It has 100% horror elements, but like others have said, it is far more a psychological drama.
