So 1922 is good? It looks tense and super atmospheric, which I love (VVitch styles), is it?
Shudder has a trial period if you're looking for a bigger horror catalogue.Crap, I've seen everything posted so far.
Netflix needs to up their horror game. More...we want more!
It's a great adaptation, Jane is great in it, and while it's atmospheric, it is definitely not on the level of the VVitch. A great psychodrama with some horror elements. Worth a watch for sure.
1922 is more of a psychological drama with horror elements. But it's certainly tense and atmospheric!
Lol you might be thinking of Don't Breathe! Which is also a fucking great movie, but I'm not sure if it's on Flix.
Hell yeah it is. The Wailing is one of the top 3 horror movies of the decade, easily.
I've heard good things about The Eyes of My Mother, which is on Netflix.
Has that finally come to U.S. Netflix. I want to see it but didn't want to try and find a theater knowing Netflix owns it or the rights. It's not straight up horror, but Annihilation is pretty good. Especially if you want an unsettling and disturbing atmosphere.
Oh shit, I keep forgetting it's on Netflix everywhere EXCEPT the US. My bad. :(Has that finally come to U.S. Netflix. I want to see it but didn't want to try and find a theater knowing Netflix owns it or the rights.
No, it's cool. It's just a movie I am actually hyped about and you usually have a good handle on what's on tv and streaming. Just makes me anticipate it more. It may be taking longer but when it does go streaming it's still coming to Netflix.Oh shit, I keep forgetting it's on Netflix everywhere EXCEPT the US. My bad. :(
Go to Amazon and rent Spring and The Endless. Both by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead (they also star in The Endless). The Endless just came out last week on demand and has a 97% on Rotten Tomatoes out of 91 reviews (Spring had an 88%). The less you know about either film, the better. Spring is a body horror romance if that sways you.
Can't believe I forgot about these. Highly recommended.Creep and Creep 2 are really clever and hilarious horror mockumentaries by one of the Duplass brothers. Don't miss out on those.

SON OF A BITCH!!!! Nobody in the cosmic horror thread told me that. Though i didn't have a problem following the film. (thankfully)Someone mentioned The Endless, DO.NOT.WATCH The Endless without watching Resolution first. The Endless is a sequel to Resolution and answers a lot of the unexplained questions in Resolution and is essentially a pay off for Resolution. Makes the movie much better and more satisfying. Resolution is great though, up there with like Evil Dead 2 for Horror Comedy Satire. It's really funny and clever. The Endless is great too. Spring is real good as well, but the least clever of their 3 films so far. Very charming coming of age story though. Linklater's Before Sunrise x Lovecraft Tentacles.
It's fantastic. Up there with The Witch and Hereditary as one of the few recent horror movies to truly unsettle meI've heard good things about The Eyes of My Mother, which is on Netflix.
No.
Sad face. :(
This is a good choice too. It's not straight up horror, but Annihilation is pretty good. Especially if you want an unsettling and disturbing atmosphere.
Seconded, absolutely loved it.
This is a terrible post. Also IT is far too new to be on Netflix, at least here anyway.Avoid The Witch if you actually want a movie with horror in it.
Watch "IT"
Let the Right One In is one of my favourite horror movies ever, and IMO Let Me In is by FAR the best horror remake ever, you really can't go wrong with either. The original Swedish one edges it for me, but that might just be because I seen it first.
i saw the witch last night, waiting for something to happen, nothing happened.Seconded, absolutely loved it.

Well our Netflix is shit so I'm not surprised.i saw the witch last night, waiting for something to happen, nothing happened.
Also, IT was added to the Australian Netflix a week or 2 ago :)
Watch Let The Right One in first. It has a better cast.

You opinion on the Witch is terrible and you should feel bad.
People really in here recommending Raw? Did I watch a different movie? Because the Raw that I watched was trash.
Wait what. No.Avoid The Witch if you actually want a movie with horror in it.

Tau has a really good "twist". NetFlix horror seem to be big on twists but not so much story.
