Of the two JRPG giants, Final Fantasy has deeper roots in D&D. The first game basically ripped off the entire bestiary, and there are clear links to the D&D notions of classes, spell charges and more. It's gone in a bit of a different direction since, to be fair.

If a party is a requirement then the Elder Scrolls games are essentially disqualified from the conversation. Neither of these games are adaptations of DnD though; the Pillars games would've been a more appropriate choice.
