It will have trash ratings and get cancelled after a season.
It makes NO sense.
Ew.They have a page for Last Man Standing on their official website now, so yeah, seems that's exactly what happened: https://www.fox.com/last-man-standing/
Lol what a joke :(
That's likely to happen with MF. I don't see how they go past the 10th season. It barely beats Goldbergs nowadays.I hate when shows that have been running for a bit don't get farewell seasons.
Like even though Modern Family for example has fallen off I want it to get the same treatment The Middle is getting.
This sucks so hard. B99 is an outstanding show and this season has done such a great job tackling subjects outside of the normal realm of typical sitcoms and not really making a big deal about them this season.
I'll watch anything Mike Schur does (really hope Good Place keeps squeaking by until they end on their own terms) but this ensemble was great.
If anyone else is a big fan of Andre Braugher's performance I would urge you to watch Homicide: Life On The Streets because his performance as Detective Frank Pembleton is incredible and an interesting opposite of his performance in B99 (much darker realistic tone of a show)
They also literally have zero incentive to bring it back seeing as how Disney will own the show once the 20th Fox deal goes through. The only way it would make sense is if 20th Fox and Fox Broadcasting Company remained part of the same company (and even then...).
How could you be fine with this?! It is still SO GOOD. There has been no drop off in quality and you could of course argue it has gotten better every year it's been on. This is a fucking tragedy.

Over 100 episodes and five seasons is a good run, especially for a Fox comedy. And closing things out on the wedding will be a good ending point. How could you be fine with this?! It is still SO GOOD. All three shows put up marginal ratings this season, with "Last Man" averaging a 0.8 same-day rating among adults 18-49 and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "The Mick" both at 0.7. With a week of delayed viewing, "Nine-Nine" and "The Mick" improved to 1.3 and "Last Man" to 1.2.
JFC Fuck you Fox. Salt in the goddamn wound. Kill off the queer show for conservative shitheads. They have a page for Last Man Standing on their official website now, so yeah, seems that's exactly what happened: https://www.fox.com/last-man-standing/

I could see TBS taking it. Especially considering they got the syndication going right nowWhat is it with comedies getting cancelled all the time? Especially with these three given that:
This is honestly a terrible shame for comedy, I miss when this genre was more relevant in media.
- Brooklyn Nine Nine had A LOT of material they had left to cover.
- Last Man on Earth ended on the biggest cliffhanger they've had yet.
- The Mick was JUST getting real good.
Out of all three, I wonder how they'll go about Brooklyn Nine Nine. They said they have an ending ready in the event they got cancelled, but the show actually is really popular, I can imagine there are takers. I can see TBS picking it up, they've treated their shows with a lot of care.
Side note: Anyone know any good current comedy shows? I feel like there's The Last OG and....that's it.
The assumption is that FX will do another season if/when Noah Hawley wants to.
Come on, even just a final 12 episode(to hit syndication) season or something.
Probably, Wrecked has a cast of thousands filming in Hawaii, that can't be cheapCan TBS afford B99? It seems like an expensive show to make, though I could be wrong.
The show has been doing very badly this season. The most recent episode got a .1 rating... I know FX is kinder than most in terms of ratings but they have to have some sort of threshold. It pains me but I think it'll be a miracle if it survives.
I dunno, TBS has been big on original content lately. Can TBS afford B99? It seems like an expensive show to make, though I could be wrong.
