I gotta assume the Timeless delay means someone is fighting for it. Timeless is a wonderful show that never deserved a second season. Frankly I can't believe they ended it on a cliffhanger. They should have known better.
I only watched the first episode and the politics seemed really forced and turned me off the show completely.
the TGIF line up from my youth
Are those the only shows that had success on Friday nights in the history of tv? For a while now I've seen Fridays as the exit ramp.
Considering ABC cancelled 12 shows this season and renewed 13, you'll need more than one show to bomb.Welp. Tuesdays are more free... but at what cost.
At least Fresh Off the Boat has a good way to close things out with Eddy's graduation, but I'm more worried about Soeechless. The only hope is that one of the newcomers bomb hard.
What makes you say this??
They had 8 previous episodes of data, the final 2 wasn't going to make/break it.Wonder if they are looking for DVR +3/+7 numbers before deciding the fate of Timeless. After that finale better get a S3…
Notably absent from midseason on their official ad is SHIELD which confirms Summer.
Plus there's supposed to be a major death at the end of the finale this season they said. This is the reason I was thinking of. Much easier for the results from IW to be resolved first, where.everyone is back

I keep telling myself the silence must be good news. I thought we would have heard something by now.Any word on Timeless yet? I've been putting off watching season 2 until it's over but now that I know there is a massive cliffhanger, I figured I'd avoid it unless it gets renewed again (not hopeful really).
This doesn't make any sense. ABC is the one who's been trying to get rid of SHIELD the last couple of seasons. Doesn't make sense with them saying something like this.
We don't know what it's due to or what the cause is. All that they did was tease that "in the finale a major character will die".This doesn't make any sense. ABC is the one who's been trying to get rid of SHIELD the last couple of seasons. Why would they say something like this.
Due to? Or something on their own right?IW
If it's due to, no issues with that, for reasons already known. But if they just are killing someone off to kill them off, bah, always hate that. You don't need to kill off characters every few seasons just to make that shocking finale/storyline. I hate that shit.IW
I was about to say better not be one of my more liked characters, but my problem is I like all of them. :( Unless it's one of those new ones from this season, I'd be ok with that. But I'm guessing you are talking about an established character by 'major' death.
Not entirely true. The report last year were the "some" at ABC wanted it canceled. Others did not. One high level programming executive has been liking "#RenewAgentsofSHIELD" tweets on his personal Twitter. And this is on top of Disney pushing them to renew.
So I think that actually lends itself to the idea that Disney might plan on bringing the show over to their streaming service next fall.
I will almost certainly probably end up getting their streaming service, so I'd be ok with this.
Wait is this real?!
'Lethal Weapon's Damon Wayans Shares Video & Photo Of On-Set Shrapnel Injury, Calls Out Fired Clayne Crawford
I thought people might be interested in this article. The sentiment seems to be split in the comments with some people against Crawford for his reported attitude and the safety concerns and most people against Wayans for being what they feel is petty.

This whole situation stinks. But I agree with others, if there was such an issue with Crawford, why would they let him direct? From what I can tell, these issues began cropping up before he directed.
Give me hope guys...
Is there a chance for Lucifer to be picked up?
Most likely not which makes me sad. I don't feel like the bulk of the fans pushed for another network to pick it up like the fans of The Expanse and Wayward Sisters. The Wayward Sisters stuff is very impressive. Over 50,000 signed the petition already and that's for a CW show that never even existed. That show would have been a huge performer for the CW but for some reason they simply refused to pick it up but the fans are pushing hard for it.
Just a feeling. I think it would have been canned by now.
They're trying to work it out and I think they will.

I don't want to try and guess what happened and who is wrong, but Crawford is gone, why is Wayans doing this now? It's poor taste to post this. He's fired, move on. I'm pretty sure there's more to it, but again, I won't try to extrapolate. It's just sad how everything has turned out.
Probably because a lot of people are siding with Crawford. This whole situation stinks. But I agree with others, if there was such an issue with Crawford, why would they let him direct? From what I can tell, these issues began cropping up before he directed.

Wayward Sisters will also happen.
This is the season of dreams.
With Roseanne being the biggest smash hit since Blackish, it was to be expected. Plus, they want the new shows getting those post rubs.Fresh off the boat and Speechless getting send to the death spot is breaking my heart.
