i had a quick search for the CGI artists in the credits, as well as the 'original artwork' credit.

original artwork is credited to tomas jumin, an installation artist that justice have worked with before.
cgi artists -
oscu - couldn't find
axonbody - artstation suggests no AI
morumotto - website/vimeo suggests no AI
sebastian kaulitzki - a cgi artist specialising in the human body/biology

i think we're thankfully safe with this one

Part of the credits too, with mention of CGI artists, Graphic Designgers, a production company etc.

Director and Production company pages are both below with contact methods if anyone does want to ask about this, but I think it's fairly safe to say this is just a CGI heavy music video.

Anyway, yes, Generator is a fuckin banger. It's the track they teased on New Year's Day and it seems like Madeon actually played it very late last year:

I absolutely cannot wait until I catch them live at Coachella weekend 1. I shall be at the outdoor theater losing my mind.

Album and two songs are up in Atmos on Apple Music. They sound fantastic.

Gave both songs a thorough listening while making dinner.
Tame Impala works really well as a vocal feature, as he sings in a similar style to their usual vocal performances and while a bit tame overall, I very much enjoy the song.
Generator is incredible in my opinion.
Really looking forward the album!

Eh?

There's a Director and a whole credits segment with CGI artists.

I've seen the credits as well, before posting, but the way a ton of the scenes fade into one another is the hallmark effect of a lot of LLM generated video.
If they managed to make this without any generative AI I'm impressed, but if they did use LLMs then that sucks.
As far as I know, none of the major currently available LLMs aren't ethically made and are trained on stolen material.

Small edit: Again, I'm not saying it is AI generated. The people in the credits certainly must have put in a ton work to make it look this good and give the music video an interesting style. I'm just saying the scene transitions look eerily like AI generated video. Don't want to derail the thread, just found the thought disappointing, given the chance.

That's fair, I also think generative AI sucks but I'm opting to not jump to the worst conclusion on this one. I'd be more suspicious if there were absolutely no credits/named production company involved.

My only advice is to consider using the contact links for the production company and the director to see if they can advise if any generative AI was used in the making of the video. I guess they could lie about it and say no, but I get the impression most pro-AI people will jump at any opportunity to tell you all about how cool they think AI is.

On the subject of the video

Anton Tammi directed the video for "One Night/All Night" and had this to add: "I suggested to them that what if we dive in? What if their music video was a journey inside the cross? I dreamed of creating a piece like this. A strange and experimental object that looks like rave lighting inside human lungs and strobe light around a human heart."

Just my two cents but doesn't like a guy who used AI, sounds like he had a pretty clear vision for the video.

Here's hoping they're going to do another live album as well, if they're touring with the new album.
I just hope it'll be an actual live recording again, instead of a studio version.
A Cross The Universe and Access All Arenas are nuts and I really missed the crowds on Woman Worldwide.

Put in a pre-order for the crystal white 2LP. Not gonna miss out on that.

For sure, A Cross The Universe is probably my second favourite live album ever after Alive 2007. Crowd goes so nuts on it, and I can't blame them.

Holy fuck this is awesome, cannot wait...

Generator is music straight out of a Furi boss fight or Neon White. AN ABSOLUTE BANGER.

How dare Apple Music not include this album under "Browse" and "Coming Soon"?

Thank you OP, I would have missed this.

Edit: Hot damn, Generator slaps donkeys. I really really hope they do OST for Tron: Ares… will make up for the excess Leto in there.

Hadn't commented on ON/AN yet because I wasn't sure how I felt about it on first listen (plus the YouTube version isn't the actual full version); it sounds about exactly what I'd expect from a Justice x Tame Impala crossover, not a surprising track by any means but I warmed up to it after a few times and Kevin's voice fits excellently with this style of music. Could've been one of the better cuts off of Woman.

Yeah, Generator sounds straight out of Cross for sure.

Not really big on ON/AN. The build at the end was kinda cool, but otherwise it definitely sounds like a RAM reject and I didn't like RAM very much.

Super happy we got 2 singles at once today, but it has finally dawned on me that we now have about 3 months of waiting for the album... and we're only maybe gonna get one or two more singles until the full release.

Really wish I could just listen to the rest of this album right now. Gotta spend the next 3 months hoping that the other 11 tracks are all of this high quality or match the vibe. It's gonna be their longest album by one track so at least we're getting a beefier album when it finally does arrive.

SEVEN AND A HALF YEARS!

ON/AN is great. Gotta give Generator a few more listens to have a proper opinion but Justice being back is awesome. Their self titled album is legendary

Third track teased - Incognito. Clip seems to indicate it's out on March 6th.

I... kinda like it but I guess it'll depend on how the whole track sounds. Reminds me of Daft Punk's High Fidelity at the start which sadly might be my least favourite of Daft Punk's output but I'll hold my final opinions until we're able to hear the full thing. I like how it progresses though!

Incognito is freaky. Based on the singles so far this album is quickly shaping up to be the album I always wanted Justice to make after Cross. Give me a Planisphere-type epic and we'll be cooking with gas.

I'm actually quite torn on Incognito, which I guess makes sense because it sort of feels like two completely different songs forcibly mashed together.

There's something about that vocal sample I just don't like. Maybe the pitch or how frequent it is. The more Electro side of the track gives me distinct Boys Noize, Erol Alkan,, Mr Oizo vibes and I've always been quite hit and miss with that particular style of Electro.

The other half feels quite Disco, and particularly quite RAM like - which is interesting given the comparisons people were making with RAM on One Night/All Night. Hell, that rising noise filter in Incognito is particularly Contact inspired.

Probably just my musical preferences at play, but I think I'd have preferred to hear each side of this track as individual songs instead of a patchwork creation of the two. Maybe I'm alone on this though.

I think what'll happen is songs like One Night/ All Night and Incognito will get reworked/fleshed out when they play live this year. incognito will probably lean into the electro side of things much more live.
