Popped my Hot Toys cherry. Just Empire Vader to go and then I'm done. Hoping to get some decent backdrops and photos at the weekend so it's not just blatantly a bedroom.
Also, anyone know where I can buy perspex boxes? So I can put these on my wall shelves, but put the perspex clear box over them so you can see them clearly, but they're protected from dust
I need more deltof shelves now
You'll never be able to have him in a pose that isn't dynamic. When you straighten his legs again, he'll have flappy, loose hanging costume near his knees. Happened to my Man of Steel Superman. On the positive side, dynamic poses look cool and as long as you leave it in one, it won't really matter. On the negative side, resell value is shot.As with any figure that uses small batteries, remove the battery after posing/pictures so that it doesn't corrode and damage your figure. Figured I'd give you a heads up. It's a bit of a hassle but at least you'll have piece of mind that it won't leak.
My Hot Toys Spider-Man Deluxe came in. A lot of collectors seem to have him in a museum pose so as to not ruin his suit; not me. Spider-Man looks better in dynamic poses and if that ruins the suit a little, eh, I'm not too worried about that.
Something like this:What's the best way to get flight poses with 1/6 figures? Since the stands are basic and just hook the crotch

The Hot Toys Man of Steel figures came with a stand like that. But it probably can't hold up a diecast Iron Man figure.
Oh god. I need it.So that laughing Prince Adam figure will be getting an online release for people who can't attend Comic-con.
July 9th to July 22nd. Made to order.
That is unreal. I wish there were a figuarts version.

Not really been out long enough for any of us to know yet, but probablyIs this true of Mezco One:12 as well? Now I'm worried for my Spidey.

Tbf, I can't see it being a massive issue, even if you wanted to sell it.Oh, so it's a long term thing then. Still...
Nooooooo. Spidey, stand up straight, quick!

Surely NOBODY poses Spidey just standing there?
As long as it only stretches the costume, it's not a super big deal. But for rubber skin Hot Toys like Thor, the rubber actually cracks over time, so you're forced to keep his arms straight a majority of the time.Tbf, I can't see it being a massive issue, even if you wanted to sell it.

I'm kind of disappointed they chose that concept costume and that they didn't make a Hot Toys around one of these concept art pieces:
Hot Toys? Most run about $220-$250. Sometimes a bit more depending on how complex they are.
Oh wow, yeah.. I can't get into a higher expense tier haha. Thanks.

Yeah, currency conversion is fucked here, as is Customs and Postage. If Hot Toys were $400 in the US, I wouldn't collect them. :/
I should have snagged the Stan Lee Hot Toys a year or two back when it was discounted everywhere (could get it as low as $150 shipped). Now, it's skyrocketed over $400. Not a price where I'm comfortable paying for.
Went to 4 different Walgreens yesterday looking for the Legends X-Men wave and only 1 store had them in stock. Then that store didn't have Storm or Sabertooth and the only Wolverine they had had bad paint on the face :-/
