Not sure who got beat up worse, TK or the audio during the 1st hour or so of the show.

Ospreay about to take Roddy's title at the ppv.

Did not expect Kenny back so soon.

Swerve is an amazing wrestler, hope they do more to keep him focused and he ends up with a good feud for the ppv.

Deeb about to be the next victim for Timeless. Wonder if Toni taking out Mina, could drive a wedge between her and Mariah before an eventual match.

Chucky knows where his bread is buttered, without OC the Best Friends would be Rampage status.

Good show, enjoyed it.

Couple of gripes though - I hope Hobbs is not legit injured but that match was poor, all the best to him if he is though.

Would have loved Swerve to open the show.

Haven't read the last few pages yet but audio/audio balance was a huge issue for me throughout.

Also super hyped for Kenny next week, do we eventually get Page/Kenny/Ibushi to rid us of this dastardly boss-assaulting hooligans?

Shortly after the dive they stopped focusing the camera on Hobbs. Heck, when the referee walked up to Mox, when they were outside of the ring, it feels to me like he was told to finish it., hence the sudden submission finish and they bought some time afterward, until it was time for final segment of the show.

We'll wait further reporting but i'm about 95% sure he's legit hurt, I wish him well.

Yeah I expected the PS DDT to be the finish but then he kicked out I was like...huh? I'm inclined to think he's legit injured too.

I think the kick-out into submission was, at least, a much better finish versus a sudden successful pin, makes it a tiny bit less obvious the guy is hurt.

Yeah this makes sense, but funnily enough - I loved the imagery of the constant punches in the corner straight into the DDT. Dont often get many of those corner spot punches looking good but I enjoyed it.

Swerve not opening the show and getting his "You deserve it!" moment was dumb.

Loved the gauntlet match, was really fun and showed there is so much talent there just waiting to feud with each other.

The end segment was perfect and really sets up some great possible stories with Kenny coming back next week etc. Exciting times.

I really wonder who Swerve's first feud will be with. The only ones that really seem to fit are Christian or Hangman. Or more left-field Eddie Kingston or Rush if they're gonna push him. Or Keith Lee if he's healthy but I don't see it.

He should do a total Fred Flintstone and be an entirely new person.

Jaguars' Tony Khan takes punch, piledriver on 'AEW Dynamite' show

Tony Khan, the Jaguars' chief football strategy officer and the founder, owner and booker of All Elite Wrestling, took a punch to the gut and a “Meltzerdriver” piledriver Wednesday night live on AEW Dynamite from Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.

this + draft week is because they did the TK angle. they've got cameras following him this week as well

I'm howling that NFL.com reported on this 😂

I'm salivating at the idea of the Bucks running the media scrum after Double or Nothing.

Holt shit, the Fed pilled X accounts are all out trying to shit on last night. Already blocked SO many and only been awake 20 minutes. Evil Khan must've hit the nuclear button.

Apparently TK was wearing a neck brace last night when they taped portions of Rampage.

I would be stunned if TK isn't wearing a neck brace at the NFL Draft. He's a wrestling fan, he knows what everyone wants from this carny business.

It is very possible we do see this cocky TK come back. Too bad the dude is not jacked like Vince and get into the ring, could be the next spark after the Bloodline that the business needs. I hope that they can build off of this now and garner up some big interest in AEW with this supergroup attacking everyone week in week out. I almost feel like Jack Perry needs to be made the leader of this group.

Since they wanted to dwell into the backstage drama, I just hope they go all in and make Perry the Locker Room Leader

I don't think Kenny is permanently coming back. He's probably only back to get beaten by the Elite so he can get surgery.

I know it's not what you mean but I am amused by the thought that in order for a wrestler to be allowed to have surgery they must be beaten down on TV, even if they haven't appeared in months.

It's very upsetting that Swerve winning wasn't treated as that big of a deal. TK booked himself over the champ. Other that good show.

What a fantastic episode. Always a fan of the quality wrestling AEW brings but admittedly I haven't been heavily invested this past year due to an increase in "filler" matches. It's why I usually skip through a decent chunk of Collision these days and no longer watch Rampage.

Tonight's episode though had solid story development from start to finish, and we're already seeing the card for Double or Nothing to take shape. Mercedes Mone is beginning to find her groove, Jericho somehow managed to reinvent himself for the 100th tome, the Bucks are the most entertaining they've been in years and Jack Perry has finally managed to shake off what was left of Jungle Boy, which he struggled to do when he first went heel. Heck even the little things like Osprey hesitating to hit the Tiger Driver and the backstage interaction with Don Callis and Kyle Fletcher added so much to tonight's episode.

Oh and can Lance Archer not disappear for an eternity again? He's so damn good. Give me a 15 minute high intensity fast paced match with Osprey please.

Darby getting beaten down/written off TV so he could go climb the mountain (which we already even kayfabe knew he was doing) then getting actually hurt during the segment so bad that he now can't climb the mountain (for now) is peek wrestling carn.

Good business is TK taking the bump, selling it like a carny sunuvabitch, showing up at a nationally televised NFL Draft in a neck brace and a wheelchair, and having professional sport commentators and pundits citing that he was "attacked in the ring by wrestlers in AEW, a company that he owns broadcasting on TBS every Wednesday."

Better business is using that clip from two weeks ago to remind the world about Jack Perry, glean a bit of sympathy for him, and then catapult him into a main event position with anime-style betrayal.

Best business is Jericho leaning into the criticism and reinventing (again) while also elevating the FTW title into something I want someone else to win.

With TK continuing the bit for the NFL Draft all but certain, what's the over-under on The Elite making an appearance as well, for maximum wrasslin' crossover?

- OC getting his ass beat by Trent. Chuck finally said the S word on TV! Good Mox promo.
- Swerve vs Fletcher was my MOTN.
- Deonna's got beef with Toni, Mariah & Rosa. I think she's turning heel.
- Mina vs Anna was solid. Enjoyed Mariah, Toni & Deeb getting involved.
- Caprice singing Willow in ROH-style :) Things heating up between Willow & Mone. Statlander covertly stirring the pot.
- Casino Gauntlet match was good. I got LU Aztec Warfare vibes when Penta came out. Massive pop for Ospreay. Unexpected direction for him.
- New Jericho gimmick is funny. Already close to recruiting Big Bill. Dark Order should be taking notes.
- Callis won't have a Family soon if he's not careful.
- Mox (c) vs Hobbs was solid until Hobbs got hurt. Part-time DDT wrestler Takeshita going after the NJPW title is wild.
- 3 hour block again after last week did strong ratings. Rampage looks stacked. Shibata lol.
- Perry and the Elite destroying TK :O Shad cameo helped sell the angle.

Always enjoy Daily's Place shows. Record number of women's segments in the 1st hour. Shame about the audio issues.

Watched this morning. That was a really fun and crazy episode.

The random ass gauntlet match was pure chaos and I loved every bit of it.

I also think I am in love with Mina Shirakawa. We're gonna get to see more of her, right? that was a nice match and she's a ton of fun to watch.

Also great to see Perry back and TK getting destroyed. haha. Why not.
