With TK continuing the bit for the NFL Draft all but certain, what's the over-under on The Elite making an appearance as well, for maximum wrasslin' crossover?

ESPN cuts to the Jaguars war room and its just these 3 on the phones across the table from Shad

I also think I am in love with Mina Shirakawa. We're gonna get to see more of her, right? that was a nice match and she's a ton of fun to watch.

I would not be surprised if Mina is one who will make the jump into the US relatively soon. she is 36 already (HOW?) so it might be a good time to try to cash in.

This isn't going to happen because Tam is going to bury her with a promo and scathing story about how Mina is leaving without ever beating her or even coming close.

Also, Bushiroad asked their talents who was going to be leaving soon and Mina didn't seem to have said anything, otherwise we'd know by now.

Maybe he'll use our esteemed EVPs power to go after Swerve.

I actually really like the idea of Hangman being conflicted and hesitant at first, but the EVPs tempt him with revenge on Swerve.

If Hangman is ready to go next week, you can have him run in to save Kenny and then do the angle there.

Audio issues aside, that was a really fun show last night.

- Swerve's Era 😌
- That casino gauntlet was surprisingly great.
- Toni and Mariah are soooooooo good.
- TK taking a bump for the sake of the business.
- The TK driver, it all makes sense now.
- Shad Khan knows how to sell.

I dont think TK needs to be a character on TV for this to work. The EVPs should take over the company and run booking in their favor. Then just have a bunch of heels join and they get title shot after title shot. Like don't go full NWO with rigged matches and whatnot but just have the EVPs book their friends the best leading to more and more heels joining their side. The EVPs did this because TK was a nice guy but he wasn't a boss and he let the locker room get out of control. Like, I assume right now Adam Cole and the jobber squad will side with the Elite and start getting title matches.

Then you pick a coalition of avengers to save AEW from the Elite. Swerve, Ospreay, Hanger, the BCC, a returning MJF, Rosa, Hayter, Britt Baker. Like just a team of unlikely allies that put their differences aside for the company.

You can do the NWO angle without all the stupidity that went along with it.

Agreed, they just needed to do this. He doesn't need to appear on TV again for this storyline.

I believe this is all leading to a Blood and Guts match between the new Elite vs whoever is going to be on Team AEW.

It's almost that time of year for that event and I can't really think of another boiling feud that's gonna be a faction vs another faction than that one.

Yeah, I don't really think Tony Kahn is going to be a 'character'. I think this was largely just an angle and probably playing a bit to people wanting TK to get his.

Watched this morning. That was a really fun and crazy episode.

The random ass gauntlet match was pure chaos and I loved every bit of it.

Also great to see Perry back and TK getting destroyed. haha. Why not.

Yes to more Mina. I hope TK can get AZM back soon. Anna needs some backup.

You're right on the money here. It really doesn't need to be more complicated than this. You maybe even show money changing hands in exchange for being booked for TV time. Easy peasy.

Damn you'd think all the dumdums would love seeing TK getting beaten up but I guess not lol. My only gripe about last night so far is that Marvez's "That's a Scoop" hasn't already become a meme.

Is it now safe to say that releasing the footage was the right call? It led to Jack's return and feeling like a bigger deal than he ever has, the show got a bump in ratings the week they released it and even the Punk chants have been shut down whenever some fans try to get them started.

Carny af? Sure. But the trick is weaponizing the carn to your favor and I think they've def done that.

I haven't watched any wrestling in about 6 months. It's probably the longest stretch of time I haven't seen wrestling in 20 plus years. So much has been going on in my life with work and relationships and I've been so mentally tired. A couple weeks ago I quit my job and ended a toxic relationship. And last night I finally felt like sitting down and watching dynamite. And I'm glad I did. Actually felt excited and happy and when the show ended I was in such a good mood. I laughed and had a good time with my brother. Jericho's promo was great. Watching The Young bucks TK tony was hilarious. I needed that.

They're definitely making an attempt to get Anna Jay up into the women's top card. Which makes sense - she is extremely attractive by conventional beauty standards, so if you can get her character in-ring up to the right level, she'll be a draw for AEW.

She's been putting in the work, too. Her ability now is way higher than even a year ago. I wouldn't be surprised if she's holding the TBS title in another year.

If Big Bill says "I like this tree", whoever is in charge of AEW now that Tony is hurt needs to step in.

When Marvez asked for "Okada-san" I was hoping he was going to bust out some nihongo jouzu, but maybe they're saving that. It was also great to see Okada be the one to signal to the Bucks for the TK Driver. Just an excellent show with so much good stuff happening! Please continue putting out more women's segments like that. I don't know if Kenny coming back is a write-off for the surgery or maybe to be in TK's role, but it'll be nice seeing him onscreen again. And as one of those sickos that enjoys the NFL draft, I'll be looking for TK during the broadcasts.
