But in IW, I believe they said they are both under house arrest.Considering that the Ronin costume is a thing from all the leaks, it's a safe bet that Hawkeye is currently not operating as "Hawkeye" but rather as "Ronin".
But in IW, I believe they said they are both under house arrest.
I mean they're probably keeping close enough tabs to know he needs to be with his family. Not close enough to know what he's up to otherwise. The harbor incident would maybe be the only inconsistency in that you'd think that would show up on the news.So this movie was supposed to address why Ant-Man wasn't in Infinity War. I guess it kind of does, but not really. For example, he was supposed to be on house arrest during the invasion right? How many days was the entirety of IW, maybe 2? So then did those 2 days fall on exactly the days of this Ant Man movie?
In Ant-Man, he goes 3 days on house arrest, free, then experimenting on a brand new Quantum Tunnel out of a van. I would assume that this new tunnel was not built the same day, and took some building/testing before experimenting but lets say that's not the case. That means that Ant-Man and the Wasp still chose to hang out playing with the Quantum Tunnel instead of going out to help the Avengers and whatnot.
Not sure if this makes sense..

Every time I see this gif get posted I shake my head. It's not like it does my favorite show (Agents of Shield) any favors. :(
Now get onto the first Ant-Man. It's arguably the better movie. And it got some awesome macrophotography on mini-sets too.I really liked it. I never saw the first ant man and I think that made me like this one more cause it was my first time really seeing any of the characters. The jokes all landed pretty well and I love me some paul rudd.
Definitely a 5 bagger
Most shows would kill to have a budget to do something like that.Every time I see this gif get posted I shake my head. It's not like it does my favorite show (Agents of Shield) any favors. :(
The invasion was localized in Wakanda. That spaceship showed up in New York, but was a comparably small event compared to the Avengers 1 invasion. Without direct contact with the Avengers, it stands to reason they wouldn't know what was going on at all, or that the Avengers could've used their help.So this movie was supposed to address why Ant-Man wasn't in Infinity War. Set photos from Avengers 4 is not free game for openly discussing.
Dude's whole thing is to finally be able to live his life with his daughter, and has Hope to share his life with, who only now is getting to be with her mother. Dude has no context for what happened in New York, and for all he knows, Cap and crew are still out in the world, on the run.Ehhhhhh
Scarlet and Vision both see it on the news of a random news station in whatever European country they were in.
My gripe isn't moreso why the Avengers didn't call Scott. It's that I don't believe he wouldn't know what's going on and go help once the house arrest was over. He's just chillin, helping out with an experiment hours or the day after Tony is reported missing and freaking aliens invade the Earth. That's not small news even in the MCU.
Anyway, was just more an observation, not really a complaint. I don't think they covered enough holes but it'll do.
I felt like I was the only one laughing in my theater but there were only about 15 people there. I loved that joke too. And then he gave Hank the FBI disguise to break out and it was a hat and sunglasses lol
I think the opposite. It looks pretty damn good.Every time I see this gif get posted I shake my head. It's not like it does my favorite show (Agents of Shield) any favors. :(

You're literally the only person, yes.
I'm sorry you had to find out this way.
I think Scott Lang might be the luckiest and unluckiest character in the MCU.

Scott is a lot like an adult Peter Parker in that way.I think Scott Lang might be the luckiest and unluckiest character in the MCU.
quantum glueSorry if its an already discussed issue, but how a building survives being shrinked and moved? Things inside are glued?

This post is objectively terrible
It'll seem even worse after I tell you

Can you make it clear it's an Avengers 4 spoiler? I clicked it thinking it was an AM or IW spoiler...Sorry and edited. Wasn't too sure when I posted to tag, so I just left it alone.

We've already spent some time talking about it in thread, but (tagging just in case people haven't seen Infinity War yet):
Obviously, regardless of whether they're factually correct or not, the Avengers believe Scott is still on house arrest and don't call him for that reason. There's no one to call for New York - it's over almost as quickly as it began. It hits the news and everything, but everything is already said and done.
Wakanda happens a day or two after New York, but Wakanda's true defenses are not known to the rest of the world at this point. No media is present for the battle (someone earlier claimed there was in-universe media coverage depicted in Agents of SHIELD, but I don't believe this to be true, and TV doesn't matter to movie canon anyway). When the snap happens, the entire universe is taken off-guard by its results.
Yes, the timing of events in the movie place the vast majority of it happening before New York, and only the mid and post-credits scenes taking place around the end of the battle at Wakanda. And yes, it's completely plausible that this movie's characters would be completely unaware of Infinity War's conflict despite being directly affected by it in the end.
Brofist
I wouldn't say worst. Easily the most boring though.
The amount of people who still leave Marvel movies before the mid or end credits scenes continues to baffle me.
I'm like, "This is literally the 20th Marvel movie. Do you guys not know how this works?" Then, when the mid credits scene start, the stragglers just stop moving, standing in their seats, blocking the view from the people still sitting down waiting for the post credits stuff. It's so obnoxious.
Even Deadpool 2! People left once Directed by came up...
I think some people missed out on that midcredits montage.
Hawkeye and Black Widow are pretty much useless.
