For those who managed to get access to the beta - did you eventually receive a steam key or did the standalone launch just work for you? I claimed my twitch drop well before they ran out (according to their twitter they ran out in 2 hours or something), but there's still nothing on my end.
Good stuff (other than "later this year" lol).
I hope they improve the IQ and adjust the lightning, the game is very blurry no matter what settings you tweak, and it's painful to fight around indoor areas because of the dramatic lightning making it super hard to see enemies.
They didn't mention containers, but it seems like Infinite won't have the egregious P2W features of the mobile version (assuming they keep this promise)

The mobile version has a subscription that gets you better containers, more XP, more money and gear when completing quests, skins, etc.
Q: When are you planning to implement wipes in the game? It would be great if you could provide different server options with varying wipe schedules to accommodate players with different play frequencies, ensuring that those who can't play daily don't fall too far behind.
A. This beta test is a wipe test. There will be no data wipe after the official launch version. You don't need to worry about falling behind since Arena Breakout: Infinite focuses more on a tactical in-game experience, rather than RPG-style character growth or base building.
That's good for me, since games that have wipes feel like just wasting my time to me. Now if they add anime girl weapon skins like the mobile version I'll be there day 1 on launch day.
