It's in the original post. She had big ears in the Gamecube game and they drew her as a mouse for fun.
I never really understood why people hated that design choice. I knew a girl who wanted surgery to pin back her ears but I thought it was endearing.

I actually liked OG Ashley having large ears, that and the fact that she also was a blonde with eyes closer to brown instead of the typical blue or green was kinda unique.
