I have zero interest in the setting, but I do love Assassins Creed and Ubisoft open worlds are glorious looking if nothing else, so I'll be watching with interest.
It was, except for getting TLOU2 spoiled for me I'm the chat of that stream!
conflictedI actually liked "Red" better. "Shadows" feels a little too close to Ghost.
Season pass will cost $40 and will give you access to a questline called "Origami Killer"
Happy to be in an Assassin's Creed thread that isn't insufferably cynical and negative haha. It's also been heartening (and a tiny bit vindicating) to see the overall opinion of Odyssey get more and more positive as time goes on.
If you're implying what I think you're implying, I'm almost certainly right there with you lol. But I know the general tone of those editions around here, so I'll keep it to myself haha
Not 100% sure yet, but most likely Q4, yeah.
It almost certainly won't be as deep as Ghosts. Ghost was able to really hone in on sword combat, and make it deep and satisfying. AC by nature just has a lot more options and tools at your disposal, and it's not as focused on 1v1 encounters. It's looking to accomplish something much different. Not to say that there isn't room for AC's combat to improve, but Ghost isn't a super accurate comparison imoReally curios to see how this stacks up against Ghosts, especially the combat. AC games always had that weird jank to their combat while Ghosts was super smooth. Hell, give me an equivalent to GOT: Legends and I might be there day 1.
It is an Assassin's Creed game. A franchise like this doesn't need opportunities to be successful.Big opportunity for AC if Ghost 2 is still MIA from this upcoming showcase.
I know but if people are clamouring for Ghost 2 and it's nowhere to be found, Shadows could do even better than it would have originally. It is an Assassin's Creed game. A franchise like this doesn't need opportunities to be successful.
For me it will be a huge surprise if both these games will not have commercial success. Both will do great.
Realistically, these two going head to head would be worrying for Ghost 2, not AC. But they can absolutely both exist and be incredible and successful, and space between the two is better for them and playersBig opportunity for AC if Ghost 2 is still MIA from this upcoming showcase.
Im an AC fan but cmon bro 😂Realistically, these two going head to head would be worrying for Ghost 2, not AC.
A multiplatform RPG is gonna have a lot more reach and the last AC game made 1 billion dollars...
I mean Ghost 2 will be big and both will sell well, but AC is a gargantuan franchise, I wouldn't my similarly themed game to be releasing close to it. I promise I'm not implying Ghost is some rinky dink IP that will get swallowed whole haha
They're going to have a mid off.Realistically, these two going head to head would be worrying for Ghost 2, not AC.
conflicted
shadows is generic but red sounds like a mountain dew flavor
One rule. Stay in the light.
