I loved this season. Enjoyed every episode. I only really fucked with the Club and BAN from season 1.

Oh for real? I wasn't expecting Insecure this year or not until the Fall at least, oh and I forgot about Luke Cage too.
Really glad we got to see more of Earn with his daughter in this episode. Really helped to remind you what the stakes are for him.
Oh they were on tour together? I thought it was weird how they kept running into each other.
Earn mentions it during the passport scene that they were touring with Clark County.
The little callbacks in this episode were great. Darius' Benny Perkins shirt, Earn breezing past the dudes signing people up for credit cards (his old job). Yoohoo.

That was the only time we saw Lottie this whole season wasn't it? She was either with Vanessa in an Earn episode or I guess with her grandmother in a Vanessa episode.

I love everything Glover does but for some reason, this show never catches on with me. I watch every episode and I don't find it anywhere near as funny as most people find it.

Compared to S1, this season definitely has not been going of its way to be funny. It's definitely not a comedy, that's for sure.

Yo I have never seen a faculty member admit that their school is trash. Wish more people would do that. It's unfortunate that both of them are struggling so they can't send her off to that private school. I do wonder what Zazie's character's been doing for money after she got fired from her job last season.

Agreed. S1 was definitely much funnier. I would actually prefer the show to stick with the more serious tone.

There's stuff to laugh at/with and relate to, but it's not really a comedy. The Barbershop episode was a comedy, but every episode hasn't been the Barbershop.
I mean, I thought season 2 made that pretty clear with it's opening.

I was following everything until the very end with Al's reaction, he seemed pissed and I couldn't tell why. He was pissed 'cus Clark fucked up Earn's plan.
