They punished him and Magnifico for their failed coup of Elfhelm
The plot progressed and we learned some things and left with some mysteries. It was ok. Potential for crazy shit to happen next chapter. Who knows what could happen to the Moonlight Child 'disguise' when he's on a magical elf island.
Definitely not what I expected from this chapter. The isidro section didn't really do much for me besides installing a sense of peace on the island but I would have rathered we'd seen more interaction with Casca instead.

Y'all hate but HE was the one who saved Casca from being burned alive by the mob way back at the Conviction arc (not Guts; Isidro). Kid messed up but worked to fix his mistakes.

I don't read much manga, and almost nothing that's current. Wasn't aware that there was a day zero scene for stuff like this.
I'll just wait. How long are the official English releases usually delayed?
I'm not aware of any service that allows your to read Berserk digitally concurrent with each chapter's release but my info is probably outdated. From what I know, people who strictly prefer the official english translations usually wait for the english volumes released by Dark Horse when enough chapters are out to warrant a new one.
