Damn that really sucks. I really enjoyed their input on the GI podcast. Kinda makes sense since Gamestop is not doing so well currently. Hoping things turn up for all of those affected.
What? They have plenty of online/video coverage and pretty sure they do digital issues as well.

With all the problems GameStop has been having, this seems like a inevitable conclusion.
gameovergreggy I know this isn't anywhere near a replacement for a full time job, but it would be really great if you gave Imran a call for KFGD, he was fantastic when he appeared!
That's what severance pay is for. Of course in the gaming industry severance pay for two weeks is the exception rather than the norm :/

Not surprising within GameStops recent struggles but sad regardless. Hope they can all land on their feet.
Sounds like beginning of the end stuff, unfortunately. GI is going to get hit with cut after cut as GameStop tries to right itself.

I think being a part of Gamestop is the only reason it is still around in the first place, what other gaming mags exist that haven't been cannibalized by the internet at this point?
