Impressive. Sadly these new highs aren't really interesting to people who sold their coins, what I'm waiting for is the crash and the 'is this the end of bitcoin?' articles on shitty sites.

Waiting forever now.

Hopefully the guy that mentioned in the other forum that he was planning to sell his own didn't do it.

It's fair to assume the value will keep rising at this rate.

At this point I feel like eventually a collective group are going to sell out of fear and pop the bubble.

It's more than likely due to the hard fork. People getting in now for their free coins.

I tried to get into Bitcoin when it was brand new. But I didn't get what the fuss was about and quickly abandoned it.

I could bite myself in the ass for this everyday now.

Damn. I emptied my account at ~3,000 because I was losing money. Should've just left it in but oh well.

I'm kicking myself in the nuts for not buying at $4000.

someone i know turned less than $10 into $1000
shits ridiculous

what's even more ridiculous [or sad?] is that i find that incredibly underwhelming.

$1000 is nothing.

economy be fucked mang.

[like, i'm mad if i don't bring in $1000 in sales every day $1000 is literally like a fucking $20 to me these days]

edit: realized that reads weird, i'm not rich at all [def middle class though woo yay north american dream team yo!]

I was just kiddin around with ya anyway.

Even if $1000 isn't a ton these days, though, it's pretty cool some people got to see their investment grow over 100x in a couple years.

Fuck.

I remember looking into Bitcoin in late 2014. I thought $1000~ was the max it would hit. How wrong I was.

Everyone wishes they could go back to 2010

I understand that most of you aren't being serious, but you could extend your hindsight to practically any risky asset whose value has appreciated. Yeah, I'm really kicking myself for not putting all my savings into Apple shares in 2002.

Just because you cashed out a year ago doesn't mean you didn't make the most rational decision at the time.

Add me to the "sold too early" pool. I'm not sure how much I regret it - the volatility was literally causing me to lose sleep.

the value increase is insane, I'm really curious how long it will take until the bubble bursts and how bad it will be.... Still amazing that it managed to get that high.

I should just drop $100 in there and retrieve whatever it's worth in a year's time.

Boy, talk about something I wish I would have invested in before it was too late. I seriously thought about it, but just didn't think it had real lasting power. Feels so depressing
