Here is the Press Release

http://www.capcom.co.jp/ir/english/news/html/e180508b.html

The Presentation Slideshow report didn't release yet but it will be released tommorow

Some highlights from the Press Release

Performance of their titles

On MHW , MHXX and Ultra Street Fighter II

During the fiscal year ended March 31, 2018, in Capcom's core Digital Contents business, Monster Hunter: World was a massive, record-setting success, becoming the best-selling title in company history, while Nintendo Switch titles such as Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) Nintendo Switch Ver. and Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers enjoyed hit status as well

On MHW , MHXX , USFII and RE7

In this business, the record-breaking success of Monster Hunter: World (for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) drove the increase in sales and contributed greatly to improved profit. Furthermore, in addition to Resident Evil 7 biohazard (for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC) and Monster Hunter XX (Double Cross) Nintendo Switch Ver. (for Nintendo Switch) giving strong performances, Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers (for Nintendo Switch) became a smash hit.

On Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite

Meanwhile, sales of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite (for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC), which was launched in September 2017 targeting the US and European markets, tended to be soft.

On Mobile

In Mobile contents, amid business reforms, including alliance strategies carried out by the Company to bring about a breakthrough in the business, Monster Hunter Explore maintained steady popularity, as licensing revenue utilizing our intellectual property (IP) successfully contributed to increased profits.

Profit Forecast on Next Fiscal Year

Capcom forecasts increased sales and profit for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2019, anticipating net sales of 96,000 million yen and operating income of 17,000 million yen.

I remember when someone said MHW's sales were extremely front loaded and it wouldn't move many copies past its initial month's shipment.

Welp.

DR4 numbers...damn.

It's a big shame. They had a wonderful franchise there. They just had to ruin it.

Just imagine how much money Capcom would make if they were competent business people like poster on this board :)

i'm impressed with RE7.....sure, it might not have sold as much compared to its predecessors but RE7 probably cost a fraction of what RE5/6's budget so it's not about how much sold but margin. And both RE5/6 most definitely seems more 'mainstream friendly' than RE7 so the fact that it sold this much (5.1m) based on what it is made me happy.

Not a big difference, but SFV is 2,1 million by the way. I guess the Arcade Edition shipment, while probably not big, was counted separatly though.

After a couple lackluster years it's good to see Capcom having another mayor hit with MHW.

Interested to see how the next MH on these platform will sell - and without the bonus of being the first "real" HD Monster Hunter.

Strong performance from XX...

Capcom you bastards
Love how their Switch releases make money yet they refuse retail releases of Revelations in Europe or Okami HD. Welp....

Just imagine how much money Capcom would make if they were competent business people like poster on this board :)
Yeah - MHXX in the west for Switch would likely have resulted in a worse FY performance for Capcom /s

Re 8 phone edition confirmed, with sprites and turned based combat. Cheap is in.

Aren't there only like two years where they didn't make money? I don't understand the "Capcom is close to going out of business angle" this site likes to push.

Not hard to imagine, if they tried harder in the mobile space, they'd make as much money as Square Enix.

In the long run they're getting less relevant in the AAA space due to increasing budget, and no progress in the mobile space, where all the juice is at. They are still making money, but they are falling more and more behind from the big publishers.

Man just looking at it yearly. 2016 was a shit year for Capcom with both Dead Rising and Street Fighter under performing. 2017 and 2018 was a hell of a bounce back.

Great result for MHW.
Surprised to see USF2 described as a smash hit, but yeah it probably made decent amount considering how low effort it was.

I still can't believe that this is the best selling title in Capcom's history. I don't know if it's sad or not because on the one hand I want Capcom to succeed but on the other it's a little sad that these type of games can be so much more successful than any single player classic Capcom made over the years.

Game series sales as of December 31st, 2017

Street Fighter
Number of titles: 84
Unit Sales: 40.0 million

Game series sales as of March 31st, 2018:

Street Fighter
Number of titles: 86
Unit Sales: 40.0 million

___

It looks like SFV in the million sellers list includes AE because unit sales barely moved for the whole game series.
