Polaris when written by Peter David. She's been written as the crazy woman who goes berserk over men problems but she's a capable team leader and interesting under the right people.

I've really enjoyed her in the ongoing X-Factor.
Sucks that she might be leaving that team, but hopefully Hickman has some plans for her.

EDIT: Yep, looked it up, she was team leader for a stint before Monica joined.

Just wanna plug Marcio Takara, since he's currently drawing a bunch of Marvel women. He pretty much updates daily with a new character added to the painting.

Lots of good stuff mentioned (especially AoA which is killing it with representation for both Asians and women) so I am going to drop a character I love for her evolution, Titania.

Started as just a female version of villain who is strong but with a head full of rocks and evolved to the degree of working for gamma flight since villainy is a dead end career path, and on her own pretty much got Creel ( Carl, the absorbing man) rehabilitated both career wise and from drug addiction.

My favorite fact about Titania that she is more scared of Spiderman then of Dr.Doom. Even told Dr.Doom hell no to his face when told to fight Spiderman

Speaking of asians, shout out to Quicksand. An asian(Vietnamese) female character that had nothing to do with martial arts or vague mystism in the 80s? Damn near a unicorn. Plus she can go toe to toe with Thor?

To me, Storm is and has always been the greatest. She's had so many great writers over the years and her personality is so nuanced and wonderful. She seems like the best teacher, best team leader and best friend that anyone could ask for. And she's a total badass in every respect. She's been a thief, a Goddess, a Teacher, a Leader and a Queen. She's the all time best.

I love Squirrel Girl. She's the Ted Lasso of superheroes. Just 200% optimism and never gives up on changing someone's mind. She convinced Kraven to be a good guy.

And while Laura Kinney is an A+ Wolverine-her little sister Gabby is just the best. This entire run by Tom Taylor cemented these two as some of my all time favorite characters.
