No, but Rolovich is calling plays now. I think they were running a form of the offense he ran as OC at Nevada, but he played in the run and shoot under June Jones at UH.

Well I hope it works out for them. I know Hawaii was considering dropping football and I would hate to see them go. Anything to potentially invigorate the program is fine by me.No, but Rolovich is calling plays now. Yeah, I'm half happy because it'll be an exciting style of play that the fans like, which will hopefully help with attendance, but half because the system allowed them to compete against teams that might have better talent but weren't used to defending it.Well I hope it works out for them. It's kinda like the passing version of the triple option.
Not gonna lie, I don't disagree with the statement. Offensive woes and defensive injuries made this a bit of a down year, but it came when most other teams were also having down years so it didn't hurt too much.
Yup.. it's great.. Walker is next babyHe was a michigan lean forever, OSU now has 12 higher rated recruits than michigans highest rated recruit.
I think he Does atm
Come on Mike.. pls let us have him10TV has confirmed that former #Buckeyes OC Ed Warinner has accepted a position on Mike Vrabel's staff with the #Titans. Warinner had just taken a job with Michigan on Saturday.
I hope some day a program is bold enough to bring the wishbone back. It's a variant of the triple option. More mid majors need gimmick offenses because you're right on talent alone a lot of these programs simply can't go toe to toe using similar offenses
Lane Kiffin the unappreciated geniusOJ Howard being 10th in career receptions at Alabama is the most shocking thing I've read in weeks.
How???
that's not even remotely the right read on this.

I agree with Mug. I saw every game OJ Howard could have played, and besides the Clemson games, it felt like multiple games would go by without Howard getting a catch. Him being #10 in the Alabama career books baffles me. Looking at the list, the top 10 all come from the last 15 years, except 1, and that ain't Ozzie Newsome. I have no memory of David Bailey.
Howard's also #10 in receiving yards.
Everyone in the top 10 averaged like 12-15 YPC, and then there's Ozzie Newsome at 20 YPC.
#1 had twice as many receptions as him. Only thing I wondered about when watching OJ is why he wasn't getting the ball more.OJ Howard being 10th in career receptions at Alabama is the most shocking thing I've read in weeks.

You can see the game log breakdown here. He didn't get the ball much in a majority of his games. But occasionally it seems like Kiffin remembered he had a huge mismatch and threw him the ball.

Well his last game he had 4 catches averaging over 26 yards a carry. Again, why didn't they give him the ball more hahaIt genuinely feels like the only two games that happened in were the natties. And he had like 8 or 9 catches combined in those, I think.
Wild.
