Just got one in my inbox. The coupon is in an email with a subject "[PSN Username], see what's new this week". 20% off redeemed in cart. Expires 2/13.

I'm not sure if this applies to all PS users or is specific to the US (which is where my account is based).

Woah, first one I've got. Looks like the thing it asked me to register for WAS the newsletter.

How do people get this stuff? I opted in for email.
But all I got in my email are SoC and MH W ads spam instead.

Yes, or things like that. It won't specify its for a coupon, the coupon will just be a part of the promotional email. Its why its always worth checking all of them (and i'm assuming thats why they do it that way, so we read them all).

I never get these codes. Should I be subscribed to some service and/or newsletter to be eligible? I get the firmware beta invites semi regularly, I'm a PS+ subscriber, and I've gone mostly digital this gen so I spend a lot on the PS store... What am I doing wrong?!

Just paid for a couple games yesterday so of course I get my first 20% coupon email. Ugh. I'll probably just pre-order God of War and Yakuza 6 I guess.

Never get one, not a single email. I have no problem getting store receipts or anything, but when it comes to getting codes I have never got a single one.

I get newsletters and personalized emails from Sony every few days but I still haven't received a single one of these X% off newsletters. I'd appreciate a code if someone has a spare.

edit: Nevermind, received the newsletter a few minutes later!

It is really odd that some people don't get all of 'em, be sure to check your account on the playstation store and SEN website and if everything is checked maybe try contacting Sony support through the web chat? It really shouldn't come down to that but it'll only take a few mins and may be worth it as the coupons and promos can sometimes be pretty rad. Good luck :).
