Crossplay is rapidly becoming the industry standard, so cool.

It's a win-win for everybody. Even consumers would be more encouraged to buy games on multiple systems if they could still carry over all their progress and play with the same folks regardless of which platform they're on, so that's a net positive for devs and publishers too.

I wonder if it's using the new Epic cross-play service that was announced the other day alongside the UE5 demo

Is Destiny 2 getting this amazing kind of crossplay in the future or only crossplay between the same family of consoles?

Oh. I never realized Deep Silver were publishing this. That'll be quite a boost for the franchise to get it into more mainstream gaming circles imo.

Didn't even know about this game, but this is amazing. Hope it becomes standard to the point we tell our kids: "Did you know there was a time where you could only play online with friends unless they had the same console family from the same generation as you?" and that will be as shocking as telling them we didn't have internet access 100% of the time

Nice, I have played the shit out of the original Chivalry. Their follow-up, whatever it was called, was not great.

Definitely. Not to mention that it will be a huge boon for niche or older multiplayer games since they'll remain a viable purchase for way longer.
